Find the Cheap Sacramento County Hotels

Great friendly people at check in. Free laundry. However the breakfast was not what we had experienced at the Cochella Property. I don't eat packaged egg products, so I was disappointed with the selection. Room was nice and clean. Very convenient to the Texas Roadhouse next door.

These people steal Out of people deposit. They will say you stole a dirty motel 6 blanket to keep your deposit. They’re not friendly and treat you like you’re a criminal and not not a visitor .the internet was going down and hard to check in with front desk .

Okay, so I'm not a Fiddler on a Roof, but I will ”sing the praises” of the staff at the Red Roof Inn. Some home improvements recently mandated that I find a place to stay for a couple of weeks with my dogs. I initially stayed two nights at a cheap corporate-managed competitor but felt that something was missing. I travelled nearby and met Angie at the Red Roof Inn. She was welcoming and enticed me to stay there answering my safety, service, and amenity concerns (I needed a place for my 2 dogs, and appreciated that the rooms promised a microwave, a mini fridge, a hairdryer, and coffeemaker...the only thing that was missing was a safe but my dogs don't wear Cartier Collar Bling so we were good.) When I returned later to book a room, Maria helped me find the courtesy reservation made by Angie. Maria has been a super star throughout my stay. She works various shifts and is always friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I am not sure if the rooms have recently been renovated but I was pleased with the decor and my comfortable king-sized bedroom (I could visualize this room being in much pricier hotels I have stayed in). I was assisted by four different room attendants, my favorite being Shereen. The other helpful attendants were Shabeena, Riley, and Sovita. Before checking out for a weekend trip, I notified Jesse (maintenance) of a broken electrical plug...when I checked back in 3-days later, it was fixed. While I was away, I received a call from Mahogany verifying my upcoming reservation. I had forgotten to call the property and really appreciated her follow up. Mahogany was always great along with Evelyn, who always called me by name and made me feel like family. The other two front desk agents who helped me were Melini and O'Neal. I mention all whom I met by name because they all prove that you don't have to be a Five-Star Hotel to give Five-Star Service. I noticed many members of this team helping each other instead of having an ”it's not my job” attitude. I believe a team is only as good as the management so I have to also give kudos to Amit and Aneesh. The neighborhood is not the greatest but the property is literally up against a CHP office. They offer free parking (always had a close space) and I never felt unsafe (I was approached once by a young lady who Donna Summer might have referred to as a ”Bad Girl,” but after a quick, ”toot toot, hey, beep beep,” I let her know that she was barking up the wrong tree...as my dogs barked at her!). The property does have a washer and a dryer (working), as well as, an ice machine (broken after first night) and two vending machines (not working during my stay). There is a Jack in the Box across the street but, while you could walk 10-20 minutes, you really need to drive to a close market or convenience store. All in all, this is very good property. Very clean and nice place to stay. Just a couple blocks off of Hwy. 99. Close enough to be convenient bet far enough to be quiet. Seems to be a nice safe area, right across the street from a Highway Patrol station. Clean hotel with a good breakfast, with choices of hot food and cereals. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is located in the southeast corner of Sacramento, about 10 miles from the city center. The location is very quiet, the hardware facilities are standard, there is an outdoor swimming pool, and the breakfast is very simple packaged food. The price of the hotel is very affordable and cost-effective.

We stayed in a King suite and was disappointed. Bed was uncomfortable and with the smoke in the air outside we were smelling it in our room which was not good. We never opened the window and for us to smell it in the room was not healthy at all. We had to grab the extra blanket and cover the window at the bottom to prevent it from coming in which helped a ton. I let the lady at the desk know and she said gave a weird look and I was asking for a late checkout cause we didnt sleep very well cauae the smoke and she said it was ok for 3pm with $50 charge. I honestly feel she shouldn't have charged us because of smoke. We paid $205 per night for a room with the uncomfortable bed and smoke coming in the room. That will be last time we will stay there.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, just off the highway. The environment is also very good, the room is quite big, but it is a bit old, and the floor can feel shaking when you walk on it. Breakfast at own expense, generally produced.

We enjoyed our stay at the TownPlace Suites. We were a little apprehensive about it being noisy when we were checking in, as there were a large number of little league players and their families staying there. But the windows were double paned, and even the boisterous pizza party on the patio didn't sound too loud in our room. And there is central a/c, not like those horrible through-the-wall units that many Marriotts now have. It was efficient and quiet. The only negative is the water (shower) has way too much chlorine in it. Bad for skin and hair, and smells awful.

This place was an absolute embarrassment. I walked down the hallway into my first ”smoke free” room. The hallway had the strong stench of smoke and I encountered an ever stronger smell of smoke in the room as if someone had just left the room. I asked for a second room, and cleared up the smoke issue for the most part. I was still down the same hallway and could smell it at my door. Both rooms had countless cigarette burns on the bed spread for a smoke free room. As I continued my night in my second room, I discovered no lightbulbs in the bed side lamps, no alarm clock, no tissues in the tissue dispenser, and crumbs in the drawers. The reviews here read highly of the cleanliness and the new renovations. Those remarks are clearly left by family and friends are meant to mislead. Nothing is new in the hotel or remodeled and cleanliness is not a term I would ever use for this place. Even the new less smoke room had the strong smell of mustiness. After staying at a higher priced hotel for my return trip through the area, I was reminded of the no health and safety procedures in place as we are currently still working through a pandemic.
