"It was a place to lay our heads for the evening and that is the best I can say, property was poorly maintained, the room was very old and quite dated, my daughter said “ this looks like a house from a scary movie” overall cleanliness was alright. The price was extremely high for what is offered and for being part of the choice hotel family I was extremely disappointed. As I told the front desk agent they can use a major makeover of the property overall to include the parking lot. Best part of the trip was the front desk agent Felicia was was very professional and accommodating if not for that it was a total bust honestly !!!!"

"My stay at La Quinta Virginia Beach was a great experience from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff made me feel welcome right away. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was, even though the hotel is just steps away from the beach and local dining spots. The breakfast was fresh and convenient, and parking was easy to access. Overall, I’d highly recommend La Quinta to anyone visiting Virginia Beach — excellent hospitality, great location, and a very comfortable stay!"

"Celebrating my birthday was a great experience. The room was oceanfront. The shower was incredible but the room was very small. There was minimal furniture so everything must stay in the luggage or on the floor. The bed was very comfortable and tv was large but there was nowhere to sit and only 1 nightstand. I suggest a mini fridge and 2 nightstands. Other then that I would recommend checking the Moxy out . Every employee seemed to enjoy working there and everyone was friendly and helpful"

"Very good value hotel, close to the sea, the hotel location is very good. Hotel facilities and in-room refrigerators and microwaves are complete. Not convenient without breakfast, only a blanket feels thin, the hotel is super non-soundproof"

"I came down for a quick getaway with my significant other and furry child. The hotel was better than expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was kept clean and new looking. The free breakfast was decent. Pet friendly. I would stay there again."

"Didn’t actually stay at the property the rating being 4.0 was the initial reason I booked and after reading the recent reviews on Google and the this site regarding the cleanliness and upkeep I didn’t even want to to have the trouble on my husband’s birthday weekend so I stayed at another location. Front desk was kind enough to check in."

"This is normally an easy go to for my kids birthdays but this trip was poor! I booked for a king suite and only got a room with a queen bed, they stated that they did not have king suites! Or any rooms in the entire hotel with king beds!!! I was obviously very upset because of what I paid for and it was not worth it! Also checking in was a very long and drawn out! I stood in a line for over 45 minutes! I am not typically a person to complain or even write a review to complain, if I don’t have anything good to say I just don’t review at all, but I was very thrown back by this stay! I will be calling customer service tomorrow with my complaint!"

"The location of the hotel is excellent, parking is convenient, and the sea view is invincible. The living room and bedroom of the suite are separated for easy sea view and rest. You can sit in the living room and watch the sea, or you can go to the balcony to see the wider sea. It is worth mentioning that the balcony windows are very soundproof. Breakfast is also very good. If the air conditioning sound is a little smaller, the wireless network effect is better, it is perfect."
