"I'm sorry that I can't recommend this hotel.
The location is great and the service was nice.
However the room facility is too poor. I don't have any air conditioner or heater in my room while I had to wear more clothes when sleep even with th extra blankets provided. The wifi signal is very shitty, disconnected very often.
I booked the hotel after my visit to Samarkand in my original plan but decided to change to another hotel after my first stay here before leaving Tashkent to Samarkand.
Feel sorry for that."
"Hotel is clean and modern, stuff are friendly and helpful. Location is convenient: metro station is in 8-10 minutes, hotel is located right in the city center.
A little bit disappointed with provided amenities: no toothbrushes and toothpaste, also no cotton pads."
"Enjoyed our 2 night stay, the staff were very friendly from the start, the room and hotel was modern and clean and in a nice location just next to Tashkent city park, the included breakfast was really nice too and also offered us one to go when we checked out early which was nice, would definitely stay here again highly recommend!"
"Good hotel, near the train station in Tashkent and not far from the airport.
All amenities: kettle, refrigerator, tea, hairdryer, etc.
There is plenty to choose from for breakfast.
The only drawbacks are dirty walls and a poorly cleaned shower, between the valves. But this is for the too picky."
"The hotel is generally clean and tastefully designed. The front desk service is excellent; they speak English, Russian, and a bit of Chinese. Breakfast is served on the basement level, and you'll find guests from all over the world. The location is superb, right in the city center, making it incredibly convenient to get around. There's hardly any noise, though it doesn't quite reach the level of a domestic 'Quanjiyou' hotel. Overall, it's highly recommended!"
"The reception desk team went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional from the very start. I was greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism the moment I walked in, which immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. They were not only efficient in handling the check-in process but also incredibly attentive, taking the time to explain everything clearly and even offering thoughtful suggestions to make my visit more enjoyable. Their approachable attitude, patience, and willingness to help with even the smallest details truly stood out. It’s rare to encounter a reception team that combines such friendliness with top-notch service, and I sincerely appreciate the effort they put into creating such a positive first impression."
"It’s a beautiful hotel, but location was not good. I encountered a problem with a dishonest employee in the reception/ concierge. I asked the employee to help me book a trip by train from Tashkent to Samarkand. He started searching on his mobile for a ticket for a trip on Saturday 14 June. He told me it would cost me UZS650,000. I was able to open the Uzbek railway website to discover the ticket prices is UZS 141,000 for a single ticket. When I confronted him he said he was trying to book me a suite for two people. I checked the price for the suite and found it UZS 500,000 only. Then I told him to buy me a single ticket which he did and paid for it using his credit card. When I try to pay him UZS 141,000. He asked me to pay him UZS 200,000 and asked him why and he said it’s for his efforts. Anyway, I paid him UZS 200,000."
"The hotel is super clean. I am very surprised by how well they maintain the place. The boss told me that they may have overbooked but to my.pleasant surprise, they twice upgraded my room to a suite. The boss is very dedicated to the hotel services and made sure the guests are comfortable.
Krokus is about 10-15 minutes away from Tashkent Airport. It is in a quiet neighborhood. While it is not that near tourist attractions, taxi is very reasonable here (USD 1-2) and front desk would help to hail a cab anytime. Sabrina and another Chinese at the front desk have always been helpful when I was there.
Breakfast has a mix of local and Chinese items. There is a swimming pool to soak and swim after a long day of tour too.
Overall, I recommend this hotel and am pleasantly surprised by the service standard they upheld"
"I stayed at the Wyndham Tashkent for 6 nights on a business trip, and I had a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel is well-located, and the room I stayed in offered a nice view, which made the mornings especially enjoyable.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile — whether it was at the front desk, housekeeping, or in the restaurant.
Breakfast was consistently good, with a decent variety of both local and international options. It was a great way to start each busy day.
If you're traveling to Tashkent for business, I’d definitely recommend Wyndham as a comfortable and reliable option. I’ll be happy to return on my next visit."
"I arrived at Tashkent Airport late at night and had an early morning trip to Tashkent Station, so I chose this hotel for its convenient access. It was a great location, about a 5-10 minute taxi ride from the airport to the hotel.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were as clean as any Japanese hotel.
The front desk was simple, but the staff were friendly and spoke English.
The hotel is a little secluded, so there were no restaurants nearby that I could walk to late at night. There was something resembling a convenience store, though.
This hotel was comfortable enough for a quick stay after an evening flight."

GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean, quiet, new, and conveniently located. The staff is very responsive and always willing to help. Thanks to Rustam and the hotel staff. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip.
VVinhhongI checked in around 8pm and was greeted by a staff in the evening shift (I did not asked his name). I asked for a SIM card if I could buy in the morning , he said could offer a free just need to top up tomorrow 9am his colleagues will settle. But early morning I was waiting for 9-9:30 there is no one knew about this . I also asked for late check out, he said could extend only til 1pm unless I will need to settle 50% extra and I agreed coz my flight is 22:30pm but in the morning when I came to settle late check out fee, there is again no one know how to do only they said they will check with their manager . I only stayed one night in Tashkent due to my flight need to overnight transit but the team make my stay very unpleasant and not comfortable. Again , I got a friend who come to visit me just 1hr, but the hotel did not allow and that evening staff again , stop my friend and said he can stay inside my room
Only 3mn, if late than 3mn, he will call my room number or even send someone . he said this is hotel rule . Omg . The way he replied and did were so unprofessional and rude and very fiere like I am a criminal . Until I complaint and asked to meet manager couple times , he agreed to let my friend stay only 1hr and needed to pay a tourist fee.
Bad service , not skilled team and I will never ever come back to this hotel again !
KKaterina NekliudovaThe hotel is conveniently located, there are shops around, near Magic City and from the street with restaurants. It was quiet, I was able to work. The room has a teapot, tea, water, toothbrush, gel and soap, slippers, towels, fan. There is no refrigerator and champagne. The room is clean but the hotel is ”tired”, hard bed. Breakfast is modest, there is no variety of vegetables. Stopped for 1 night, because the price was reduced and the bonus from the app was - late departure. I will not come to this hotel next time.
NneuroVladimiROverall, this is a decent hotel for a short stay – our four-night stay left a pleasant impression. The hotel is in a great location – a bus stop is nearby, and the metro is no more than a 15-minute walk away. The staff is very polite and welcoming, and they diligently carry out their duties. The room is clean and serviced daily. It has everything you need: wardrobes, tea and coffee making facilities, a TV, a refrigerator, and toiletries. The breakfast selection is adequate, but the quality of presentation is somewhat limited.
GGuest UserI arrived at 2300 and there is a monopoly of taxis. Frankly, I just wanted to get to the hotel so I hired the official airport taxi (there is a stand before customs, as well as money change facilities). The driver had a little difficulty locating it, but it is actually a couple hundred of meters from a mayor street.
After traveling in China, I was relief to notice that the people at the hotel speak English (thanks Haselbeck). The room is clean and right behind the reception, at street level. Since the windows open, I asked Haselbeck about the crime situation and he laughed, stating that this doesn't happen in Uzbekistan.
Breakfast was very good, with cold meats, eggs, cereal, cookies, cake, tea, coffee and blynis. While having breakfast I spoke to a person from India who was working is Tashkent about how he transports, since the Metro is about 1600 m away. He laughed it and told me to use Yandex Go and order taxis. Great find! They are really inexpensive .
ДДжони ФоксWe were choosing between this hotel and the Uzbekistan hotel which is nearby!
Friends were staying in Uzbekistan!
One of the downsides in comparing these two hotels is that they charged a tourist tax, so the accommodation was more expensive!
Breakfasts are more modest, again in comparison with the neighboring hotel, but the main thing is there, except... Coffee 😬
Only for a fee! There is some in Uzbekistan 🙏
But...
Initially, the guys in Uzbekistan were put in a room where their windows were not only blown in, but were blown away by the wind! An extra bed for a child, they just threw in mattresses 🫣
Only after swearing and other things, they changed them to a room with renovations!
This hotel doesn't have such a problem! The room is large, quite warm! Clean, tidy! Yes, the renovation is certainly not fresh, but it's not worn out either 🙏
In general, you can live! The price and quality match! Otherwise, if you want the Soviet era, welcome to Hotel Uzbekistan! And if not, then to La Grande!
There is also a swimming pool, I think with the hotter weather it will be open!
