Old inn design that’s had a surface renovation and lick of paint, without addressing the expensive improvements needed, like bathrooms, aircon units, windows, and most importantly, soundproofing (you can hear every footstep, toilet flush, conversation in the rooms above). Expensive for what’s offered.

Comfy beds, clean recently refurbished rooms, friendly staff, right downtown Cody, free cold bottled water in the room, fresh coffee in the morning at the entrance, family restaurant just across the street, nice bar and grill on premises. We loved The Scout Inn!

Plenty of parking spots in front of the hotel. Good reception. Room was fine with good beds, good a/c, a microwave and refrigerator. Room and bathroom both clean. Only complaint we have is the noise. We could hear every step in the room above us, the television from the room opposite of us and people speaking in the room next of us.

Exceptional service and clean and quiet rooms. Comfortable bedding. If I ever find myself in the area, I would definitely stay here again. Will recommend to try this hotel out. A nice change from busy California. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves for my birthday trip

Stayed here for two nights without reservation. Nice little place to stay down town cody, WY. Pleasant help full staff. Alot of shopping in walking distance. Wifi and good selection tv channels. Highly recommend staying here to everyone.

I was booked to stay for 2 nights but got into a motorcycle accident, which involved an emergency room visit, so I had to cut my trip short. Because of that, I cancelled my reservation around 40 hours before, not the required 48 hours. The hotel declined to refund me. Their response was, "if we made exceptions for everyone, we wouldn't be in business." I guess they were within their rights, but you might consider booking another hotel run by more compassionate people.

Clean room. Older property with good location to downtown businesses. Bar with food shares parking lot so very convenient. More of a renovated mom/pop type motel than a holiday Inn style. Was fine for one night. Quite a bit to do in Cody with rodeos nightly.

Last minute trip to Cody without reservations. Walked in and staff was very accommodating. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Well represented by website. Staff offered great advice for local restaurants. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Rooms were very affordable.

We were coming from Yellowstone out the east entrance towards Gillette. We were shocked at how high the rates were for hotels in the area. We picked this one because the rate was good, it looked nice, and it turned out to be a good selection. The only complaint we have is that it was not insulated and you could hear everything above and next to us. The room was clean and decorated nicely with current updates. The pictures on the website were a little bit deceiving. The previous lobby looked like a bar and the checkin was in a strange place…but it was fine.
