The hotel was easy to find and we could park on the free parking street on the side of the building. The room was clean - the shower looked new - and the staff was pleasant, discreet and welcoming. I recommend it.

Came for a business stay, I finally slept only a few hours because of the noise of rodents scratching and running in the walls of the ground floor.
Not to mention the condition of the shower, a large diameter shower head full of limestone...
I do not recommend.

Eerst het goede: de ligging, op 2 minuutjes van het commerciële centrum van Cognac (waar overigens niets te zien is en het nachtleven zeer beperkt) Betalend parkeren in de straat. Het hotel ruikt echter muf, is lelijk ingericht, sjofel en wanordelijk. Onze kamer, op het gelijkvloers, heeft een raam dat uitgeeft op het voetpad. De receptie gaat maar open om 17h00. De wifi was in panne, maar dat werd ons niet meegedeeld; we moesten het maar ondervinden. De kamers zijn bijzonder klein, het bed is klein (1,40m) en van slechte kwaliteit. Het dekbed heeft niet eens een overtrek. De handdoeken ofschoon voldoende in aantal, zijn versleten. De zeep in de douche ruikt naar vloerzeep. De ontbijtruimte is minder aantrekkelijk dan een schoolkantine. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid maar van povere kwaliteit; het fruit beschimmeld. Conclusie: misschien goedkoop voor Cognac (waarom zijn hotels hier duur?) maar toch het geld niet waard.
