Consuegra Hotels with Airport pickup service

From the first minute the owner and staff could not have been more helpful despite the language barrier (resolved with their use followed by ours of google translate). They also talked us through the town of Consuegra including restaurants and attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean and contained nearly everything you could need including toiletries and a hairdryer. We asked if an iron was available and they were only too happy to help. The breakfast was very varied and included coffee, fruit, pastries etc. The owner was also very helpful when we were attempting to sort transport back to Madrid on a Sunday due to the lack of trains/buses. I could not recommend this hotel any higher. It even includes a swimming pool!

The hotel has good conditions and has been in line with expectations. We would like the pool to open early in the morning to enjoy the time of not so warm. The telephone for the reception did not work, because I tried to use it at 0 and 30m and no one answered.

We stayed here on a road trip of Spain, we chose it as nothing more than a stopping off point on our way to the coast, unfortunately we had booked in on a Sunday which meant that everything in the hotel was essentially closed. The only staff present was the lady who checked us in and we were the only guests in the whole place. She pointed to the centre of the town on the map where we could find a few restaurants for our evening meal. This sounds like a disaster but to be honest we found a nice place to eat which was very reasonable and actually enjoyed our stay in the little town. The hotel was very reasonably priced so we had their largest room which was spotlessly clean and even had a nice rooftop terrace. They did us proud for breakfast in the morning considering we were the only guests, overall we both felt that staying here was a pleasant interlude on our journey. I’m sure if it was any other day than a Sunday we would have had a nice meal in their restaurant.

Nos alojamos para el Puente de Diciembre y desde que estábamos llegando, el checkin y hasta cuando nos marchamos Mª Ángeles (la dueña) muy pendiente de todo para facilitarnos las cosas: que supiéramos llegar a la ubicación, que no tuviéramos que esperar para entrar, nos ofreció parking (aunque no fue necesario) y nos hizo una gran explicación de la historia de Consuegra y lo que había que ver. Pocos anfitriones hemos visto tan involucrados para acoger a sus inquilinos. Atendió nuestra petición en la reserva y tuvimos la suerte de estar en el apartamento – ático, con una terraza espectacular desde la que se ve el pueblo y también los molinos. Allí pudimos comer a mediodía y desayunar y merece mucho la pena abrigarse un poco para ello y disfrutar de esas vistas. La habitación dispone de cocina, micro, nevera, cafetera… y varios productos para desayunar (café, bollería, leche, yogures, tostadas…). No se nos ocurre nada que faltase. La situación ideal, a 5 minutos andando del centro y justo en el pie de la sierra de los molinos para visitarlos. Sin duda alguna recomendable y para repetir.

El encanto del sitio lo nubla el mal servicio y pésima gestión de los encargados del cortijo. La recepción fue nefasta, muy atropellada y apenas nos dieron las llaves , se marcharon sin explicarnos ni ofrecernos ninguna información del complejo, así como de las opciones que ofrecían en cuanto a cafetería, uso de la piscina y posibilidad de realizar actividades en el entorno. El desayuno iba incluido , pero no respetaron el horario del mismo, ya que comenzaba a las 8,30 y apareció la encargada a las 8,53h, alegando que tenía necesidades fisiológicas . No supieron contrarrestar este desagradable malentendido , alegando que , hay escaso personal y que tienen otras necesidades más importantes que atender ( poner baldosas , recoger a la niña del colegio, etc)., cuando lo más importante es dar cobertura a los clientes que, como nosotras , decidimos ir a este sitio para tener relax y buena estancia . Esta experencia nos deja con mal sabor de boca y poco nos invita a regresar . Una pena que por el servicio se carguen un lugar tan bonito .
