I was overall satisfied with the hotel room. The ice was very hard and there was no inconvenience in using the hotel room.

The hotel was very clean, including smelling like disinfectant without it being overwhelming. The shower had excellent water pressure and the desk clerk was helpful with all requests. While I am local to this hotel so probably wouldn't have thought of getting a hotel without extenuating circumstances (my power was out for days and husband just out of the hospital) I wanted to let others know how nice it was in case they needed to stay. I do miss the full breakfasts usually at Holiday Inns, but that's COVID's fault that it wasn't available.

We stayed in this Holiday Inn Express for over a week, and it was a wonderful experience! I rarely give 5-star ratings, but I do it now with no hesitancy! This hotel is only a few years old, and shows very few signs or wear. Everything was kept very neat and clean (a real Covid-era blessing), and a staff member was always available at the desk to provide cheery assistance with our every question or need. Wonderful!

The staff made the stay. They were accommodating and nice. Always asking if there was anything else needed. They left breakfast out for people who came down late. The beds were super comfortable. I definitely recommend you staying here if you are in Medina.

THIS IS A TRUE WARNING. LOOK AT THE PICTURES. I was in town for a wedding Friday-Monday, 9/23-26/2022. Typically upon check-in, I thoroughly check my room #221. However, due to rehearsals, family meetings & greets, etc, I just checked-in and commenced with the wedding schedule. Due to the fact that I've been in hotel mgmt for over 10 years, I am always considerate of the housekeeping department. In turn, Mon 9/26/22 after showering, I removed all of the linen and made sure all dirty laundry is in a pile. Upon pulling the linen from the beds, I was disgusted and appalled. I immediately called to the front desk and requested for mgmt to come to my room, it was approximately 730amish. The desk agent informed me that there wasn't a MOD on property but as soon as the GM arrived she would inform him of my request. I went to the desk 2xs, the 1st time I showed my pics and video to the agent and she was very apologetic. While standing there the GM Steve Patris walked in. I introduced myself and told him I would come back once he was settled in. I came back down around 10:30-10:45ish. I begin to explain to Steve how I felt and I allowed him to review the pictures & video footage. He apologized and said he would give me points. I informed him that I wasn't a Marriott member, in turn I prefer to get 1 night stay refunded. He stated he couldn't do that and thar he would give me 50% refund of 1 night stay. I informed him that, that wasn't suffice. I then asked him to put himself in my shoes and inquired what would he want. He didn't answer the question. I again reiterated that 50% wasn't suffice and I preferred a 1 night stay refund of $119+ tax. He said he couldn't do that because he needed to analyze the situation. I said well I requested for you to come to my room. I then said we can go now. He didn't move. I then informed him that facts don't lie. The room was despicable. So I inquired again, as a GM you're telling me that you, as the GENERAL MANAGER of the hotel can't refund me a 1 night stay. He said no. I then asked for his boss information. He then passed me a sticky note that he had ALREADY written Marriott's customer service number on. I was like wow, so you were prepared not to help me. After going back and forth with each other for another 5 minutes, I just ended the conversation and he said have a good day ma'am.

Had a really great time , clean rooms , very fun for the friends and family!! Good food and a very helpful staff, and really good prices. We do our convention once a year with over 100 people and its always been a great time. Thank you!!

I stayed here this week for 5 days. I want to score this higher but the room cleaning is a hard point for me. The plus points - good size room with all the amenities you need (coffee machine, fridge, iron + board, shower stuff). Standard HIE breakfast fare. Great staff. The negatives. Room was never cleaned - no bins emptied, no towels changed, no bed made up, no loo roll replacement. No offer of points or free selection from the market. Tiny gym and pool. Doors slam noisily. The other minor issue I had was that during my stay there was a crew that were working locally cutting trees and so they took up most of the car park with their machinery and every night there would be a few people outside the entrance smoking and drinking. Will try another hotel when i'm back out in 2 weeks
