The good: The ‘hotel’ is clean and modern. Reception team were welcoming and accommodating. Housekeeping team friendly, as was the person overseeing the buffet breakfast. The breakfast itself was also good. Communal pool areas clean. Room for improvement: BB lounge food isn’t the greatest and the other restaurants on site don’t have as many child friendly options. The biggest issue is that it is advertised as suites in a ‘hotel’, but in reality it is more of a ‘serviced apartment’ set-up, with some ‘suites’ privately owned. The renting of someone’s second home isn’t made clear from the ‘hotel’ or travel agent websites. Unlikely to return for this reason. It’s a shame as the ‘hotel’ parts like the buffet breakfast, housekeeping and communal areas were done well…

Wow this place is amazing. From check into departure everything was fantastic. The complex is pristine and kept immaculate. Reception staff extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations, booking taxis etc. The accommodation is superb, large spacious rooms with everything you need with fantastic views over the bay of Costa adeje. Again the apartments were cleaned daily to an exceptional standard. Breakfast was excellent with a huge range of freshly made juices, great selection of hot and cold food. The Baobab suites were so good we rebooked for next October prior to leaving.

An awful stay from start to finish. Really rude staff (excluding the reception staff), not welcoming at all. Poor quality food. Unclean areas of the hotel such as the lifts and smell of bins. Hard to find your room due to the multiple instructions to find it and the lack of accessibility points (we often got lost finding our room and had to return to reception to ask how to get there). Basic rooms with no stand out 5 star features. Overall, a terrible stay and would not return

Fantastic service from all of the staff and the housekeepers do a great job too.. Lovely apartments with lots of space and privacy. Food was lovely and the breakfast boxes were amazing. We loved our time at Baobab and will definitely look to book here for our next visit to Tenerife. Keep an eye out for Pikachu the cat. He’s the best 😍

Tranquility on the edge of Adeje and Caleta nearby. Suite with a jacuzzi and access to the pool suited teenage kids. Comfortable and spacious, we really enjoyed the calm and relaxed mood. Breakfast at buffet was good with fresh juices. First stay here and would recommend. Cab down the hill €5 saved a trek in the heat to re enter the busier bits of our holiday. Staff friendly and attentive but never intrusive ( loved fact our room had a tidy fairy when we were out - never at 9am ❤️). Thanks to all the team for a super stay.

2nd visit this year and can’t wait to go back. Lovely suites with everything you need and loads of space both inside and out. You have your own private space as if in a villa but all the advantages of a hotel. Great breakfast always fresh and lots of variety.all the staff are really friendly and professional. Wonderful bar with great views across Adeje. Gym over the road and paddle courts if you fancy a workout. Great new restaurant opened this year on the ground floor called CHAR owned by the venture group,so no need to travel out for a great meal. I won’t be staying anywhere else when I visit Tenerife.

We had 3 different families stay in the suite next door and a group of 6 girls on the other side and when everyone of them walked out onto their balcony and saw the view they all said the same thing “Yes!”. This is because the baobab suites offer something that is very different and then adds a spectacular view, exceptional service and first rate facilities. We are a family of 4 with two adult daughters and had a 3 bedroom suite with private pool and we could have invited 20 guests to the suite and still had room to spare. One of our common complaints on most of our other holidays is the lack of storage but this suite had 22 wardrobes, 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. The breakfast choices are great, especially the view from the BB lounge and the in suite boxes offer a good choice for everyone. The only issue, was not being told that The BB lounge would be closed for our second week for refurbishment. The cleaning was daily and carried out to a very high standard and the front desk staff were always happy to answer questions, sort trips and offer recommendations. A special thank-you to Nathan for his detailed knowledge of how select the correct suite for our next visit. Cannot come soon enough.

From Corina and Loren on reception to Richard on the bar staff, all the team at the hotel are as high quality as the hotel itself. Always smiling and so welcoming. It’s a very friendly atmosphere that makes you feel like a VIP. Corina and Loren were always so helpful and made the experience. From touches like cava and strawberry coated chocolate on our anniversary to helping us with upgrading our room. Cant recall the name of the man who showed us to our room but he was equally as helpful. Think his name was Gerardo. Richard the bar man was so friendly and made our drinks with real care and passion. The BB Lounge was closed for refurbishment during most of our stay, which was a shame. As it was a lovely place to sit and have breakfast overlooking the ocean. The room we upgraded to had its own pool, which was lovely, unfortunately our neighbours on either side also had adjoining private pools and were very loud and spoiled the peace and quiet. So best take this into consideration if booking a room with a pool if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax during the day. We will definitely be back to the hotel and look forward to seeing and using the BB lounge next time.
