Stayed for 10 nights in October 2024, overall a good experience - have summarised the positives and negatives below Positives Great location, easy access out of the hotel to the seafront with shops and bars/restaurants nearby. The sunsets from the terrace are beautiful The public areas are very well kept, spacious, light and spotlessly clean Large bedroom again very well kept the housekeeping staff are brilliant In room TV has several U.K. channels (although satellite signal is variable so not always available) There pool area is great with several options and plenty of sunbeds, the booking system works well and the pool attendants are friendly and helpful Entertainment is decent, some very good acts and a few duffs but overall good The animation team are good, enjoyed the stretching and aqua gym - lots of activities during the day Restaurant staff are friendly and well organised, empty plates quickly cleared away and tables cleaned etc Less positive Food quality - breakfast buffet fairly standard and ok. Evening buffet so so, have had better and have had worse Drinks quality - limited choice of beer, cocktails often premixed, table service hit and miss ended up going to the bar to be served. Lots of bustling round but not much serving. No pool service for drinks Snack bar very limited Air con in room pleased itself whether to cool or not (reported this to disinterested receptionist on leaving) In summary we were half board guests but many appeared to be all inclusive as is the trend. Personally feel this leads to a drop in standard where food and drink quality is concerned. If we returned would be bed and breakfast only and eat out. Same with service, guests have already paid so less effort serving drinks etc. Lots of decent and affordable places to eat and drink nearby.
