We booked the Fox room for birthday celebrations and afternoon tea. The food was lovely, and they catered to our dietary requirements perfectly. Staff were friendly, polite and really looked after us, and were so good with the children. The happy birthday plate they brought out was loved by the lady celebrating her special day. Thank you all.

No more expensive than the regular bog standard hotels, (as it included breakfast), but far more opulent and in a stunning location.

My son married his beautiful bride on 28/10/24. It was a lovely intimate service and celebration. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast and was cooked fresh and to order. There was something for everyone. The rooms were warm and cosy, the beds were nice and comfy. A bit confusing with the lifts but we didn’t get lost 😂. The staff were lovely and friendly and always at hand. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you

Hard to find through some winding lanes - missed the entrance and did a loop to get back, but a real gem once you arrive. Could do with a new, brighter, more visible sign maybe?

Reception staff messed up ours and family members’ room numbers and payments, it was chaos!
We stayed in the coach house but we didn’t even sleep because the room below were having a party until the early hours, with lots of people coming and going, as the front door doesn’t lock! It felt a bit unsafe.
Lastly, the hotel was awful at catering for allergies..I was expected to eat a plain bread roll, coleslaw and salad for dinner due to being coeliac and the meat not being gluten free and providing no alternatives! Would not stay again 👎
