Top Hotels in Dalian with Spas

I've stayed at this location multiple times. It is a good location and I enjoy the house band in the pub (located in the basement). The Kempeski is definitely showing its ago, however. The marblework in the bathroom is cracked and some of the flooring is stained. The public bathroom (to the right of the lobby) is in desperate need of a makeover, i.e. recaulk the edges of the lavatory and do a deep steam cleaning of all tile. Breakfast was superb and the wait staff was doing a great job turning tables around for the next customers. I would probably stay again, but only if the prices are reduced.

I can safely say Intercontinental is one of the best hotels in Dalian after having stayed in many Dalian hotels. For starters we got a room upgrade and early check in and late check out. The hotel also gave us complimentary coffee and fruit soon after checking in. The room was clean, comfortable, modern and had a gorgeous city view. The amenities were satisfactory and their Breakfast buffet had a wide range of Western and Chinese cuisine to choose from. Special thanks to Jason from the fitness centre and Winnie and Kevin from the front desk for their excellent service they especially made sure our stay was enjoyable. The only downside is that I think the Chinese restaurant staff could use some training the service there was the least professional but in my opinion it didn't takeaway from the overall experience.

Pleasant hotel with a good outdoor seating. The bathroom was spacious and shower and toilet are distinctly separated. Breakfast is decent but could be better. They offer meals for lunch and dinner which are fairly priced. The sliders I ordered were only 60-80rmb and they tasted yum! The hotel is nicely located at the beach front and is less crowded during the holiday, but our king sized room was in front of three trees that were blocking the view of the ocean. Other than that it was a cool experience.

My second stay here ! And you’ll probably see me more in the future! It’s my favorite hotel to stay in Dalian ! I highly recommend!! The service is amazing ! The rooms are clean and the interior looks are exquisite and pretty . The view outside is magnificent and I was in awe !! My favorite hotel ! I will come again very soon ~~~~❤️

This is an honest review that is not meant to dissuade anyone but to offer a thorough unbiased review. My opinion of New World before my stay was that it was a 5 star hotel, it certainly wasn't horrible, but after my stay and comparing to other Dalian hotels in its league that I've stayed in, think it doesn't fit the bill for a 5 star hotel. I can't complain about the service, Check in was swift and we got a free room upgrade and spa coupons, but the hotel room carpet was stained, there was dust in some places and the furniture and room amenities are aging, slightly dated and need to be improved (I didn't feel the need to zoom in on those issues so the pictures wont reflect this) . I loved that there were lovely art pieces throughtout the hotel and the fitness centre was top notch especially the heated pool. The breakfast buffet had fewer options than expected for a hotel of that standard but it was honestly delicious and satisfactory, they had both Chinese and Western dishes, fruit and cereal. The waitresses from Guo restaurant had the best service they went out of their way to make our dinner pleasant. The most disconcerting issue I had with New World was that the room deposit refund took longer than I've ever experienced, I found it highly unusual and somewhat disappointing because I've stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels and usually the refund is instant but they told us it would take up to 3 days. Maybe this is standard practice for them but it made no sense to me and I've never had to wait that long. In any case surely it doesn't take 3 days to check a room!

This is a hidden gem to stay for families or for couples! We wanted our kids to enjoy being in the water even in the middle of winter and this was the perfect place. We stayed in a villa where they will fill your personal hot spring whenever needed. The public hot spring area also has huge indoor heated pools and a wonderful kids area. My children had a blast! Cleanliness and service was impecable all around. Shout out to Derek and Brain who spoke English and were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. As expected, the area around the hotel is quite dead in the winter like the amusement park and beach. Most attractions and things to do in Dalian are about 45 minutes away, so we will probably come back March- September instead.

What a wonderful place. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The pool was a nice size (my kids love swimming) and the gym wasn't too badly equipped. The family room was awesome. The kids beds where a little bit hard but not the worst. There is a McDonald's and Burger King close by and you are not too far from Russian Street. The only thing they don't have is free parking. All and all very satisfied. We will definitely use them in the future.

The parent-child room is great, the room is very large, with two bedrooms, two large beds, and two bathrooms. The layout is full of parent-child atmosphere. Children are given gift bags when they check in. The room also comes with a lot of welcome gifts. The hotel provides exclusive services for children. There are also many, which is the best choice for parent-child travel! Thank you very much to the beautiful girl Cui Jiayuan at the front desk for her warm and thoughtful service. I really had a great time~

It was a good trip to the hot springs. The rooms are clean and spacious, the indoor and outdoor hygiene is good, the living experience is very good, the breakfast is rich, the price/performance ratio is fair, the hot spring soup is clean, there are not many tourists on off-peak days, the 88 yuan small hot pot is very average,

Dirty carpets in the rooms and in the hallway. Swimming pool was closed. You need to be nude when using the hot spring. My ************* is my privacy and they should take other cultures in consideration. I don't want to look at strangers private body parts and I don't think they want to look at mine. They need to get a pool for people to wear a swim suit. I couldn't use anything at the hotel, that's why I check out a day earlier. Not much of English help available. I will certainly not visit this hotel ever again. I will not recommend my friends to vist this hotel. The deposit of 1000rmb is too high for a single person. I request a days refund as I changed my hotel in Dalian to use the swimming pool and hot spring, which I couldn't use.
