Dalian Zhongshan District 5-star Hotels

I've stayed at this location multiple times. It is a good location and I enjoy the house band in the pub (located in the basement). The Kempeski is definitely showing its ago, however. The marblework in the bathroom is cracked and some of the flooring is stained. The public bathroom (to the right of the lobby) is in desperate need of a makeover, i.e. recaulk the edges of the lavatory and do a deep steam cleaning of all tile. Breakfast was superb and the wait staff was doing a great job turning tables around for the next customers. I would probably stay again, but only if the prices are reduced.

Is a nice hotel, with a bunch of available services. Was a pity they don't have a biguer room or family rooms available , so we get a tween room, that was fine also. Restaurant is good, breakfast have a good varaiaty of food . Location is great, not far for many interesting places in the city.

I can safely say Intercontinental is one of the best hotels in Dalian after having stayed in many Dalian hotels. For starters we got a room upgrade and early check in and late check out. The hotel also gave us complimentary coffee and fruit soon after checking in. The room was clean, comfortable, modern and had a gorgeous city view. The amenities were satisfactory and their Breakfast buffet had a wide range of Western and Chinese cuisine to choose from. Special thanks to Jason from the fitness centre and Winnie and Kevin from the front desk for their excellent service they especially made sure our stay was enjoyable. The only downside is that I think the Chinese restaurant staff could use some training the service there was the least professional but in my opinion it didn't takeaway from the overall experience.

This is an honest review that is not meant to dissuade anyone but to offer a thorough unbiased review. My opinion of New World before my stay was that it was a 5 star hotel, it certainly wasn't horrible, but after my stay and comparing to other Dalian hotels in its league that I've stayed in, think it doesn't fit the bill for a 5 star hotel. I can't complain about the service, Check in was swift and we got a free room upgrade and spa coupons, but the hotel room carpet was stained, there was dust in some places and the furniture and room amenities are aging, slightly dated and need to be improved (I didn't feel the need to zoom in on those issues so the pictures wont reflect this) . I loved that there were lovely art pieces throughtout the hotel and the fitness centre was top notch especially the heated pool. The breakfast buffet had fewer options than expected for a hotel of that standard but it was honestly delicious and satisfactory, they had both Chinese and Western dishes, fruit and cereal. The waitresses from Guo restaurant had the best service they went out of their way to make our dinner pleasant. The most disconcerting issue I had with New World was that the room deposit refund took longer than I've ever experienced, I found it highly unusual and somewhat disappointing because I've stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels and usually the refund is instant but they told us it would take up to 3 days. Maybe this is standard practice for them but it made no sense to me and I've never had to wait that long. In any case surely it doesn't take 3 days to check a room!

The staff at the front desk were really kind and English was also comfortable. The room was spacious enough and comfortable, especially with a bidet in the bathroom. However, I stayed on the 10th floor, but it was a little disappointing that the room with a bad view of the building in front was blocked, and I turned on the heating, but the cold wind kept coming out, so I asked for a separate heater, so it was less cold. Hotel facilities such as saunas and restaurants in the hotel have great convenience like a global brand five-star hotel, especially because it is located in the center of the city, so it was very convenient wherever you went. The hotel was famous, so the taxi drivers quickly found the location and arrived quickly. I am thinking of using it again when I come to Dalian next time. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

I’ve stayed in a few Hilton Hotels In my experience, Dalian Hilton is very Normal. I went to celebrate my 6th Wedding Anniversary. The trip started with a bad check-in to the hotel where I had to drag all my luggage to the room, there was no one to assist me to find my room or someone to explain to me where my room was located. I had to search for my room myself dragging all my stuff. I asked the front desk for some help. Later I complained and the front desk apologize and send us a fruit plate. The room was nice good not 5-star level maintained. Lack of Amenities very few not all were in the room. Some services were provided in Conrad like swimming pool breakfast. No in-house entertainment for guests. The breakfast service was very good. Excellent staff and guest relations. Not too many but great choices of Western and Chinese dishes. Hats off to the chef. In conclusion, it’s was a good stay. This hotel needs to improve Guest relations and have some in-house entertainment for the guest.

Facilities: Complete and well maintained. Hygiene: Very hygienic, from the room to the corridor, lobby, and restaurant. Environment: The environment is elegant, and there is a noble and elegant fragrance as soon as you enter the lobby. This taste has not changed in twenty years. Service: Professional and enthusiastic service. The bedding in the room was very comfortable.

From the start of our stay the staff were kind, friendly and helpful. They are also fluent in English and were able to suggest many different activities in and around the area. The facilities are clean and the swimming pool is a great place to relax. The hotel is located close to many different restaurants and coffee shops. They also have bikes you can use to explore the scenery. I would definitely go back and recommend this place for everyone!

I came here with my friends for the weekend and chose an old hotel. The location is very good, surrounded by the Musical Fountain and Venice Water City. There are many delicious restaurants. The hotel service is very good. The staff are very polite and have a strong sense of help.

The hotel has a Tokyo style, is clean and tidy, and the location is very good; Chef Li’s skills are very good, supervisor Hou Guanghua is serious and responsible, and manager Bao Lei is also very professional and enthusiastic; I happened to be visiting a client, and I also bought the hotel’s Lantern Festival souvenirs, which were great, five-star reviews!
