An excellent place to stay. Very central location and although parking was changed separately I felt it was worth the extra expense. The bedtoom was spacious, clean warm. The king size bed was very comfortable, with snug duvet and pillows. I must mention the wonderful service in the Thyme restaurant from Tiffany who went above and beyond helpful, can't thank her enough

We have stayed at Premier Inn Darlington town centre in the past and found it to be comfortable and in a great location. We have family in the area so were stopping overnight to visit them and to break up our trip to Scarborough

verry riendly and amazing staff,great stay.only issue is the mattress,im dissabled with a bad back and mattress made it worse as too soft.but best hotel in darlington

Stayed here in August with my son who has autism. Staff are engaging and went above and beyond I never once mentioned his ASD but was so pleased with the way he was treated and engaged with rather than spoken through or patronised which we have experienced at other hotels. Rooms are clean and fully equipped with tea and coffee with refills at reception. Food is good value for money and fantastic range and quality. Hotel is walking distance from both train station and town which suited us well.

Beware scam car park operator! They will fine you £100 if you haven't purchased a ticket despite machine only taking cash and poor reception to payonline. I paid but took 15 minutes to get the coins and i have been fined. Its an appalling scam!

Welcoming, friendly and very very clean. Good location. Would recommend and would stay again. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby and a really beautiful park is 15 minute walk away so it's good for kids too. Check in was friendly and very welcoming and lady on breakfast the first morning was really nice and couldn't do enough for us

This is a good central hotel, near train station and town centre. Nice helpful staff, good breakfast choices. Only downside was curtains on windows are short and as it's summer it got light from about 4am and a lot of light below the curtains, so bring an eye mask if you are disturbed by light.

Clean and pleasant hotel. Polite staff. Generally what you'd expect. However the room was boiling, panel on wall which may control temperature didn't work, and windows are sealed. Had very little sleep and have a full work day, won't be staying again.

As Premier Inns go, this one is reasonably new. Clean and in good order. Very comfortable, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The only issue was the car park. I paid on the app for 24 hours, when this expired I was unable to renew this for the 2nd day. I am now waiting for the parking ticket in the post.
