At noon, I went to the picking garden to pick watermelons, which was very sweet. Many of the surrounding attractions are mostly scenic belts. There are Yongguling, Zhenchuan Great Wall, Hongshiya Scenic Area, and also close to the Great Wall Tourist Highway Line. The scenery along the way is beautiful. The most impressive is the food and sunset bar of the homestay. The sunset is beautiful. There is a unique atmosphere for outdoor barbecue at night. The night is quiet. The most bright thing may be our song at the ktv in the hotel. I am afraid that it will alarm the villagers, hahahaha. A good trip, you can go again if you have time.

Hotel was nice and overall clean but description shows that hotel have non smoking rooms but our first room smells like ashdrray. Hotel was fully booked exept suites (i eas not agreed to pay more) and they promised to overclean our room. But sadly smoke smell didn’t disappeared. Smell was still in the shower room and it was discusting. Next night we got new room and everything was fine. Location is great. Breakfast was modest but ok. You can park your car in to underground parking place and it was without extra cost.

The hotel has complete facilities and relatively new decoration. The rooms are spacious and bright, clean and tidy. The girl at the front desk and the security guard are very friendly and helpful. They even upgraded our room for free. The overall check-in experience for a family of six is ​​very good. The breakfast is rich in varieties, especially Datong's special sliced ​​noodles and haggis taste great! It's a pity that this trip to Datong is only for one night. If I stay for one more day, I will continue to stay! Will choose this hotel again in the future!

The room is very clean, Xiao Ai is also very smart Suitable for living with brothers and sisters It happened to be the Lantern Festival. There was a red fire show in the morning and a light show in the evening. There are also many delicious shops around, and it is very convenient to buy milk tea. I originally packed things in the evening and planned to eat the next morning, but I was hungry at night and borrowed a microwave at the front desk.

I stayed one night at the hotel. I was visiting Datong. I arrived early and asked front desk if I could leave my suitcase whilst I did some sightseeing. The front desk staff told me I could check into my room. The young lady who assisted me spoke some English. She also helped me with booking tickets to visit the Yungang Grottes. My room rate included breakfast which had a wide choice of items. The room I had (1212) was spotlessly clean and had a view towards the old walls. I would highly recommend this hotel for a tourist visit.

Stayed here 3 nights with my family. The hotel is close to the high speed railway station. The guest room is well appointed and comfortable. Cleanliness can do better, there was mold in the bathroom. The bell staff service was lacking, our request to arrange for transport to the Train station on the day of our departure was denied The bell hop asked us t make our own arrangements Other than that, all good during our stay. We would like to make special mention to their Front Office manager, Mr Yang whom we had the pleasure to meet on the first day when we checked in. When he found out that we required a driver and a guide to bring around us to explore Datong, Mr Yang quickly made the arrangement at a reasonable price. He even arranged for the Chinese Restaurant to serve us lunch when he heard that we needed lunch. Lunch at the restaurant was good and we continued to patronise thoroughout our stay. We must compliment the great service rendered by all day dining and Chinese restaurant service teams. Thank you, once again to Mr Yang for going his extra mile to serve us. Your hospitality made our stay at Yungang Hotel so memorable.

It’s still minus ten degrees outside in March. Other facilities. It's a duplex, but the second floor is half a loft. I sleep on the mat at night like sleeping on the floor. This room is equipped with a walk-in closet, which is good. The bath water is relatively hot, the bath floor drain is also fast, and the toilet flushing noise is small, which is good. Hygiene: The hygiene is OK. There are only two towels and two bath towels in the bathroom, and there is no floor mat. The elderly should be careful to slip when staying. Environment: The location is still excellent, and several surrounding attractions are within walking distance.
