Family-friendly Hotels in Daxin

The hotel is very nice and cosy. The staff mostly is awesome and very friendly. Excellent food at the restaurant and every evening there was a small special thing (bread, soup, etc…). Every evening there was an outdoor fire and cooking in a wood fired oven. The owner is very friendly and ready to help. Food and breakfast are excellent. No western food. For breakfast , there is good coffee available. It is possible to get bread and fried eggs on demand if you don’t like Chinese breakfast. Surroundings are great. You can borrow bikes from the hotel to go around through the rice fields and the mountains. Great place to use a drone if you have one. It was too cold for us but there is a swimming pool on the rooftop with an outstanding view. We visited the Detian water falls and the Gulongshan canyon. To sum up, great place for a family trip or for couples

This hotel is good for three reasons. First, although it is a three-star hotel, its hardware facilities are not inferior to those of a four-star hotel. Although it is a commercial area, the consumption is not very high~ The bamboo raft is still worth sitting on, tasting peanuts and bitter gourd tea, listening to the sister singing folk songs in the breeze, it is very artistic~ The services and supporting catering and entertainment provided by Mingshishan Manor District are very nice~ If you park your car by yourself, contact the hotel and there will be a park tour bus to pick you up immediately. The scenery in the park is also beautiful, and you can go directly to Yulin Dam from the park path, eliminating the embarrassment of being stuck at the door~ The bonfire party was also very lively, the brothers and sisters were very hard-working and enthusiastic, and the host uncle was humorous and took everyone to square dance~ The service staff were also very attentive. The stay was very comfortable, the room was clean and hygienic, the boss was very enthusiastic, and he introduced the surrounding ways and routes in detail, which was very suitable for us to go out without a guide, hehe! The street in front of the hotel is clean and tidy, there is free parking nearby, the surrounding environment is very beautiful, the Detian Waterfall Scenic Area is so beautiful, there are few people at this time, and every shot is beautiful. It takes about half a day to play in the entire scenic area, which is not very long, you can play slowly, very comfortable!

Located in the heart of the city center but in a small and quiet street so you don’t hear anything from outside. Very clear, bright and comfortable rooms and the staff speak English so it was very simple to ask some information

The hotel was clean and modern, and every single room has a view of the surrounding karst mountains. The view from the pool is to die for. The food in the restaurant was pretty good, if a bit overpriced. It would be lovely if they also had an English menu, but that's rare in this corner of China, and we managed with rudimentary Chinese and pointing. Be aware that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Other than a small convenience store, there's nothing around. You need a car, scooter or bike to get around. If I had any complaints, it would be that the rooms aren't very well insulated for sound. We could hear everyone who walked up or down the staircase.

It's said to be inside the scenic area, but in fact it's still several kilometers away from the entrance. I was quite disappointed at first, but the store owner provided warm and thoughtful service. The next day, he helped me hire a car and buy tickets for the scenic area, which resolved the inconvenience. There is pastoral scenery outside the room, so overall the price-performance ratio is quite high.

The hotel is a little far from Chongzuo but you can hire a Didi for about 380RMB from the chongzuo train station. The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a walk and see the 100 doors (I think it was called) and walk all the way to the border post 3. It's was surreal. Across the river you can see Vietnamese house and people. we waved. a drone showed up we left. To go to the waterfall we walked from the hotel to the tourist center. About a 45 minute walk. Not bad once you get there. The hotel is old and starting to show the tear. You can tell it was once great but no renovations have been made in forever. The carpet had stains on it. not tiny ones. The little mini balcony was dusty. The bed was big but on the hard side. The towels are frazzling it was unbelievable. The breakfast , if you are not full on on Chinese breakfast its a no no. AND no coffee EVEN though the COFFEE MACHINE looked like it had just been plugged off. sign sating being fixed. come on .It's a 4 diamond rating but it felt more like 2. It's also smaller than it links in the video and pics. There's an awesome restaurant at the entrance on the right. It made a whole lotta difference. Highly reccomend eating here. And we did!Twice. Food was not bad. definitely order the ribs. The staff is nice especially the restaurant lady. Would I stay again? NO

The hotel is in an unbeatable location. It is an ideal choice for transiting to Detian Waterfall. The room is clean and sanitary in the tourist area. Across the road is the parking lot and the visitor center. From there, you can take a shuttle bus directly to the waterfall. During the Spring Festival, the traffic jam was very serious. I stayed here a day in advance and left after breakfast at 8 o'clock the next day. I came out after the water was released at 12 noon. There was not much queuing throughout the whole process. The guy at the front desk was very nice and even set off fireworks for the children to watch. Thumbs up 👍

The hotel service is good. When you approach the room, it is warm inside. The air conditioner has been turned on in advance. The power card in the room is always plugged in. Other hotels rarely do this! A buffet breakfast and lunch are provided, but you have to walk to the Mingshi Villa buffet restaurant 500 meters away. The restaurant is by the lake and has a beautiful environment. The food is okay, not much, at most 4-star standard. The facilities in the room are average, the bed is hard, and one mattress has collapsed and deformed in the middle, but it is good to be able to book it during the peak tourist season.
