Room was dirty and too hot in temperature

Nice and pleasant hotel in the central of the city with easy access to many places.

Really great staff, the hotel is a little older as reflected in price,full English breakfast available just don’t leave it till the end as hotel cannot afford waste so don’t overfill the pots. We would definitely stay again. Great views if you get a high room at rear.

Good hotel, pleasant reception staff, rooms nice, can’t fault anything, good location.good service, ideal location for Alton Towers only about a 40 minute drive away.about 10-15 minutes walk to derby city centre, I would stay again if needed.

Lovely and clean . Beautiful breakfast ... polite staff would defiantly recommend. Stayed a few years ago and didn't enjoy my stay but it's been took over and it has defiantly turned around so will defiantly stay again . Restaurant it's Beautiful aswell

Room was very clean 4 poster bed was really comfortable towels and sheets looked brand new. We decided to dine in there restaurant and it was amazing presentation and taste were outstanding with quick service all staff were helpful polite and friendly. Will definitely go there again.

Second time I've stayed at this hotel, it's good value for money and the breakfast is always lovely. Staff are friendly and helpfull and quick to deal with any issues you have (only problem i had was with the tv in the room) Room was well equipped with furniture and things you needed eg. Kettle, tea, coffee, bathroom had toiletries etc. My bed was very comfortable and i slept well. My room had great views out over the top of the area too

Exterier is amazing, reception, bar, restaurant very classy, but things change, once you open your bedroom door, you think ***, stained carpet, furniture badly chipped, bathroom door badly damaged, pillows are bad, mattress springs poking through, clean kettle tho and cups, plenty of coffee & milk, parking um we arrived at 4, big carpark, but no spots, so went to receptionist, said there was a party on, but can park up after 6, as be quiet then, was not happy at all, so had to park, a good 15 mins walk away, in a very undesirable area, the place round, hotel not pleasant, woulldnt walk around when dark, but only 20 mins into main area, were there is a wetherspoons, and a cosmo restaurant, all you can eat, amazing top quality food, must book tho, as sat gets very busy, back at hotel, quiet room, slept ok, got up at 8.00 for breakfast, which must admit was amazing, choice of hot & continental, fresh orange juice, lovely coffee from machine, good choice, of latte, cappichino, etc etc, very clean dining room, and food area, over all had a good stay, for £61 for 2 adults, with breakfast, is amazing, bad point lift still broken, so when you book, tell them you need lower floors x
