White Rose Motel - Hershey

I’m not sure who wrote these reviews stating the rooms were clean but ours most certainly was not. We checked in Friday 9/13 @8pm and received room 207. Upon entering we felt and smelled a muggy and musty room. The floors were not clean, as we could see dried water marks from old spills. The bathroom had a pink colored soap scum or mold buildup all along the grout and caulking lines like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The baseboards all had a grime build up too and the smell of urine in the bathroom was strong. We noticed a lot of dead bugs along the bed closest to door and we immediately left. No way was I bringing luggage in or was I about to lay in the beds. We left and called around for vacancies and found a room elsewhere. I called the front desk of the white rose and told them we weren’t returning and would not be staying there. He said he would check the room and when we called back he said the room was fine. Umm it absolutely was not fine and I told him we clearly had different opinions on what clean was. They wouldn’t refund anything so now I’m placing a claim w our bank. No one should have to stay in such filth. It must be new ownership or something bc I cannot believe these reviews. Prob the worst place I’ve ever stepped foot into.

Rented 2 rooms and both had everything you would need for a getaway. Very clean and I’m a germaphob. Support the locals forget the chains America !!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At this point I’m just burning up words to hit the 200 characters !!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed for a couple nights. Great location. Easy checkin with very friendly staff. Room is fantastically clean with fridge and microwave. Just the basics but exactly what you need. Close to many restaurants. Pool in the middle although closed in November.

I saw all the great reviews so decided to book it for a friend getaway. This place is so clean. Beds are comfortable, everything was in good order. I especially loved that the floors were laminate, not carpet - and sparkling. Thank you White Rose!

All of the great reviews were right. Room was beautiful, beds comfy, plenty of pillows. You could basically live in this room: hair dryer, iron and ironing board, coffee machine, microwave, taller mini fridge, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tissues, etc. Pool in great shape with its own towels poolside. Free coffee and reasonably priced drinks in the lobby. Friendly folks operating the motel. Glad we found this gem and will return next. Accidentally booked a room twice because Trip Advisor’s “Bookings” tab said “none” despite booking through their app a week prior and in a panic the morning of our trip I booked again. Once I realized the mistake and asked for a refund on the second res website the White Rose folks quickly accepted so we weren’t double charged. If Trip Advisor mostly just redirects you to other booking websites they should do away with a “Bookings” tab, since it probably won’t record most bookings.

This place is an absolute gem! INCREDIBLY CLEAN!!! A must stay if you’re visiting Hershey Park, as it’s just minutes away. Will definitely return here for our next visit. If you are looking for something clean, close to the park that won’t break the bank, this place definitely hits the mark. When I was planning our trip I read many reviews on surrounding hotels close by and wasn’t thrilled with the outrageous prices $$$ and awful reviews about cleanliness. Then I stumbled upon the White Rose and I must admit at first I was a little apprehensive but read all the amazing reviews and decided to book. I couldn’t be more thrilled with our choice. Don’t be fooled by the outside. The rooms are nicely updated and most importantly SPARKLING CLEAN. The female staff member we interacted with couldn’t have been sweeter. Awesome stay and kudos to the owners for the pride they take in keeping this place great. Thank you again from Massachusetts!!!

Great place to stay! Clean as can be, easy access to everything in Hershey, people were GREAT! Perfect for a family vacation!!!! This motel was great for kids and we really enjoyed it. The staff was always available and accommodating

Our room was very clean and I was so happy for that! We had our two small children with us and they ALWAYS want to touch everything and it's not as worrisome when the room is clean. Easy check in and out. We had plenty of fresh towels despite staying only one night. The air conditioner was clean and worked well. Enjoyed the provided shampoo and body wash (Dove) and was also happy for the little coffee maker in the room. Will recommend!!!

A++ experience. Friendly and professional staff committed to both excellence and service. There is clearly pride in their work. Immaculately clean and comfortable room. Incredible price. Highly recommended. I have stayed several times and will stay again.
