Room not exactly as pictured, just a simple hotel with very basic facilities and no breakfast. Main issue, however, is communication: Staff is very nice and friendly, but could not communicate in English, even with the use of Google translation. I needed to book a tour to visit the battlefield and they simply couldn’t help. So I ended up having to move to the Muong Thanh instead.
By the way, both CTrip and Agoda told me the Muong Thanh was fully booked, but it turned out to be untrue and they got me a room there……

Le moins mauvais des trois hôtels que nous avons eus à Dien Bien Phu... Rapport qualité prix correct, personnel gentil et avenant. Chambre moyenne, salle de bain douche à la vietnamienne (la douche arrose toute la salle de bain). Rien de plus à dire... On recommande quand même pour Dien Bien Phu.
