The hotel room was pretty nice and quite comfortable and spacious. However, on two occasions my friend and I spotted cockroaches in the hotel. Once at the breakfast area and once in our room. This easily altered our perspective of the hotel especially because it is a Hilton hotel. The manager of the hotel apologized, but said that they’ve never had such a complaint before. We both found it hard to believe that considering we spotted the roaches in two different areas of the hotel. The pictures attached are from a video clip taken of the roach we saw in the room. Makes me wonder where else there are roaches and how many there are in the hotel.

On a recent trip to Dubai, i stay at HIEX Safa Park for a total of 10 nights. The best thing about this hotel is the location. A short walk to Business Bay metro station to get to places in the city easily, and literally at the doorstep of Dubai Water Canal, which is wonderful for a run or leisure cycling. The breakfast spread, a little boring but acceptable. The housekeeping though a little disorganised (missed a towel, or I had to get my room key reset) but the staff is generally eager to help sort out issues.

Sit and have breakfast either inside the breakfast area, but on the street, ask to put a thing to keep out the flies. There are sooooo many flies. In general, the conclusion is this .If you want a hotel, read carefully and look in detail on the map. There is no direct path to the pier, as they say, but the same to the sea. Within walking distance, it is possible only by leaving the hotel and walking 200-300 meters to the left, there will be a house adjacent ,, supermarket.

Chose the Hyde as we understood it was a new hotel just out of the CBD which matched what we wanted to relax on our way back home. From checking in to checking out everything was seemless. The team worked hard to ensure we were looking after but not suffocated. The breakfast was nice with variations each day. There is a shuttle bus that can take you to the mall or to a beach (if you so desire) I know that some people come to Dubai to have a great time partying and shopping. We didn’t need that and it was great wandering down the Creek looking at the new developments coming along We are looking forward to our return trip in November My only quibble is that we could not charge any of our drinks or meals to our room.
