Arlington Hotel O'Connell Bridge

Dublin City Center Dublin|0.1km from O'Connell Bridge
Had a 4 night break a week ago. We had very good service particularly in the dining room. My husband has food intolerances and Alina, who I think was in charge of the dining room, was very good. She put the gluten free bread in a specially designated toaster in the kitchen, after the first morning she automatically did this when she saw us. Otherwise it was a buffet type breakfast, both cooked and continental, and put your own bread in the toaster. Lucas was our waiter and made us feel very welcome, he managed his section of the dining room very efficiently, brought us pots of coffee and tea, and cleared our table as we went along, we certainly tucked in! The hot food behind the buffet counter was constantly being freshly cooked particularly the eggs (personally I don't hot food that has stood for ages, especially eggs) We went as foot passengers from Holyhead, it wasn't worth taking the car, we chose the Arlington for it's central location. Someone showed us how to download an app to use the local transport, but the hotel is so close to the main tourist attractions that we just walked, it was easier. Being over retirement age, I went back to the hotel room for a ''rest” for a couple of hours in the afternoon. There was a lot of evening entertainment very close to the hotel, we went to 3 live entertainment events. The room was a good size, well serviced each day, nicely furnished, an old type shower worked well, and it had an extremely large comfy double bed. The view was a sort of courtyard, must admit not that attractive a view, but considering what we paid was overall very good value for money. Finally, Heather on reception was very good for information and booked our taxi back to the port. (on the way there just got the shuttle bus)

The room is small, even the cup has to be placed in the cabinet. There is no way to open the suitcase. The 21st century has no air conditioning facilities. I asked the front desk. He said that if you want an air-conditioned room, you can book another room next time. He can give me a fan. I am really speechless. I really want to turn my eyes 🙄️ and stayed for two nights to get close to 3K. I am also drunk 😵‍💫.

Had 1 day layover in dub, airport ride is no more than 30 mins RT to a very near bus stop by the river, the block behind the hotel. Staff was fantastic, from front desk to cleaning personnel upstairs; hotel is very nice very boutique, its no new but it has lots of new charm; bed was great, at least for us; the most important things were on spot, clean bed, room and bathroom, good staff to start the check in right, and location which i was 5 mins walk from temple Bar pub to give you an idea and lots of places to eat in. Would 100% stay again here.

We have just returned from the most enjoyable stay at Wynn's hotel and are so happy to have experienced one of the most professional hotels we have ever encountered. It has the perfect combination of understated elegance, attention to detail and welcoming charm, all made to seem effortless. Behind all this you have the professionalism of the staff, David in the bar looked after us so well and whose easy conversation, good manners and skills make you feel you have been visiting for years, Roberta on the Reception is a true gem and so helpful and interesting, the dining room and staff, most attentive I didn’t get the head waiter's name but the breakfast first class, best we have had and all home made and compliments to all the catering staff as our evening meal sat in the bar was delicious. We hope to return and will tell all our friends.

The house is small, but the facilities are complete and there is a kettle to boil water. Good location Just on the main street, walk to Trinity College for 5 minutes, go to the shopping festival for 5 minutes, and be close to the bar street.

Hi, just letting you know that i have just had the police visit me during my last nights stay. Generally lovely and lovely receptionists, however tonight blew all the icing off every hostel i have ever stayed at (more than 100). So basically was talking to my new friend i met and explaining to her that generally i am lucky however with everything I buy technology is not my luck, i have the newest and it does not work each time, to include an iPhone 13, newest iPad, etc. everything else great however this. So we sorted out the contact method however decided email was the safest way forward due to the above. So I tried to do my booking in / checking in etc and look at the pictures of Guinness factory she took for me due to iPad not working for pics, and was talking to myself - not particularly loud, near the snacks and football table, then a ********* started waving at me, like crazy, I asked after I finished what he was doing (thought he had a mental health problem on first impression, went and asked him and he then said that I was interrupting his phone calls. I said dont think so as I wasn;'t particularly loud, and that the guy staying on the sofa (one of 2 or 3 guys the receptionists are letting sleep on the sofas for free while we are paying) was making more noise (as much as it wasn't annoying me, i was making a point that he was definitely louder). He said that I was interfering with all his calls still and said I was disruptive etc., I said if I am so disruptive to call the police, of WHICH HE DID!!!!!!!! So I was waiting about 2 hours plus of which immediately he abruptly told the guy they all let sleep on the sofas and hang out that he must go immediately, of which the guy was not leaving very quick of which the guy 'Christopher' enforced a quick exit after me making this point. He went. So 2 or so hours later, on my recording, I went to ask 'Christopher' if he could give me a crime number of which he refused of which I asked again politely, and still nothing, however he then proceeded to call the police again (this time about 45 minutes ago ish), I asked him the crime number and he said that they will be along shortly of which I think he called the police again but cannot be sure. So the police turned up 325B and 344B Darragh Connolly and Kevin Lynch. They were fairly polite however said that Christopher insisted that I wanted the police called, I asked for this to be sorted out here and now, however they suggested I sleep and go home tomorrow, and there isn't a problem, it needs to be sorted out with the hostel and the booking. To me there is a huge problem, I have health problems and came here to relax and find my roots of Irish have enjoyed it and now it is ruined forever because of this, not something I can just forget and certainly don't want this nasty low life human to get away with.......... He originally suggested I am over intoxicated of which I went to the Guinness factory, have had a pint and a Jamiesons over the course of a
