The facilities are probably at the domestic B&B level, except for the towels provided for bathing, there is nothing else. The most outrageous thing is the service. From 12 noon to 4 pm, there is no service and the door is locked. Just use the sentence "sorry" to cover up, without any sincerity.

Many comments say this is bad and that is bad, let me say a few points. First, the location is excellent, on the bay. Most people who go to Dunkirk drive, so it is convenient to go anywhere. Second, the parking lot is free, and the key point is, it’s free. This is Europe, quite rare. Third, the price is around 500, which is absolutely affordable. Fourth, it is true that the bed is small, but the double beds can be put together to at least form a king bed. This value for money is worthy of encouragement. But if you are looking for a vacation feel, the Radisson Blu Retreat Beach is a great value for 200 euros a night including 15 euros for parking.

Stopped here on an overnight stay in Dunkirk. It looks pretty dour on arrival although there is plenty of free parking on site. Receptionist was friendly and helpful, with check in brisk. The corridors are very tired looking, but the rooms themselves were spacious, clean and everything was fine for a simple stopover. The breakfast was a very disappointing continental offering at €9. The restaurant is shut through the winter (I presume) but there were plenty of options all within a short 5-minute walk. As long as you keep your expectations pretty basic, at its price it’s ok for a short stopover.

My first impression when I arrived was a bit dissapointing, because the windows on the outside looked dirty and old. But once inside, at the reception, I found someone whom spoke English fluently and was ready to help with parking my motorcycle and any other question. the price was good and the location is superb. The room was very clean, everything worked. I will be back, for sure.

From 24 to 26, i.e. 2 nights and 2 breakfasts: zero zero zero. An 80's electric heater that stinks if you turn it on and the mini electric heater in the bathroom was luke warm all the way. Faucets dating from the war. Shower head hosing to the side with a hole in the wall. Stagnant toilet water. Bed light broken. And side buffet breakfast, a sketch so there was nothing. Damaged fruit, 2 then 3 badly developed cheeses. The worst, 4 cereal rolls that came out of the freezer (one smelled of fish). For tea drinkers like me, you will have to settle for a cup of coffee (no luck the second morning). Wanting to go to the toilet without going up to my room, you have to go down to the basement to come across an HS pissoir. Only good point: the staff is very nice

Stay away if you can... a bathroom was there, cold to lukewarm water, no shower screen. In terms of stars there are 2, should be - minus 3. Should really just close. Complained to reception, plumber had been but not solved. I couldn't speak to the boss.

Family stay, the welcome is very good day and night, the room is pleasant and clean, the bathroom is a little small for 4. Small flat on the breakfast (industrial pastries??). Ideal location between the station and the old Port even if the works disrupt traffic.

Strange hotel... decent rooms (bedding +++), bathroom from another era (seals and dirty toilets), and you have to wait 10 minutes to get hot water... The rooms are never cleaned during the stay ... breakfast very average. Reception almost always closed... And meal trays and food waste that remain all day in the corridors. We sleep well there, it is quiet and well located.

Il fait très chaud Dans les chambres, pas de clim et certaines fenêtres ne restent pas ouvertes. Il m'a qu'était un porte ma teau dans la chambre et une prise de courant près du lit. Petit dej bien garni Personnel sympathique et accueillant. Il y fait très très propre.

Hôtel calme et bien situé, l'accueil y est agréable, la chambre est spacieuse avec vue sur mer, le petit déjeuner est copieux et servit avec la gentillesse et l'enthousiasme de Valérie. Nous y avons passé un bon séjour et recommandons cet établissement.
