Very nicely decorated room with theme. Very impressive room inferior design and very cost. Aircon is provided and the room is very nice. Definitely come again. Close to town center and restaurants. Good price and good stay.

Very pleasant overnight stay, with very helpful staff. The decor is quirky and extravagant, if slightly tired now. Very comfy beds, rooms with lots of character. Good breakfast. Was a bit of a shame there was no red or white wine in the bar, but we had a brandy & ginger nightcap instead, so not all bad. Would much rather use unique independent hotel like this rather than big, faceless chain

Myself and husband thought we would book in for our 12th anniversary when we arrived we didn’t get a warm welcome it was dull and miserable we got showed to our room when we arrived inside the room it was cold the room was dark and dull only one window was to be open if needed as the other one had a sticker on it saying it need’s replacing then to find loads off small hairs in side the bath tub as we was just about to take a shower it was disgusting definitely hasn’t been cleaned properly when checking out in the morning there was no one on the desk we waited for 15 minutes! We left the room key on the counter as we had to dash of I wouldn’t be in a rush to return to this hotel definitely not worth the money it’s such a shame this hotel has gone right down the hill it used to be beautiful and clean since new owner have taken it over it’s definitely not the same we didn’t enjoy our stay we was very disappointed!

We were amazed by our stay at OYO townhouse. We stayed in Le Jardin room and know Durham well. It surpassed all expectations with a truly gorgeous room with a beautiful that was also very private. The hot tub was super and lit up lovely in the evening/night.
The service was exceptional and we were well looked after by a range of people. The hotel bar was really lovely too and we enjoyed this before and after meals. We were lucky enough to get engaged on our stay here and it made the whole trip even more memorable. Nothing to fault from the whole experience!

What a wonderful stay for us girls, for a friends 60th. Beautiful boutique hotel. Lovely, decorated, different, double rooms. Good breakfast. Great location. Thank you Daisy for looking after us! You were very kind, helpful, friendly and professional. Thank you also to housekeeping services. Cleanliness second to none, ladies were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Will be planning a return trip, and to stay this time in outside rooms with jacuzzi baths.

Nice staff. All keen eager and knowledgeable. Located near the hotel indigo and Marco Pierre steakhouse, near the court and prison. Rooms a decent size. Breakfast reasonable for the prices charged. Eggs cooked nicely and not overdone like other places.

Stayed in eden lodge nice but not worth the money needs a lot of maintenance done to it no privacy wood broken on the shed over hot tub lights didn’t work on the hot tub smelt foisty hairs in the bathroom tv very crackly room was dusty not what’s advertised

Absolutely fantastic. Rooms have style, bar is pleasant although not luxurious five star sofas. Staff pleasant and helpful. A lot of multitasking going on. Felt pleasant and the location is ideal to walk in to town. I think that I am very very likely to stay here again
