Hotels Near Henri Legay Park in Edmonton

I had an amazing stay at the Super 8. Sandy is amazing if you’re checking in with her, and the lady in the pub has fantastic service skills. I wish I had of caught her name. She’s fantastic and very attentive. My only complaint is after I left the hotel. I had accidentally left my single use contact lenses in my room. I obviously didn’t realize this until I was getting ready the next morning. I phoned the Super 8 to see if I had accidentally left them….and honestly had to really push for them to look in the lost and found. Thankfully, they found them. I had an emergency pair in my purse “just in case”, but had I have not had the emergency pair, I would have been unable to drive or even see 2 feet in front of me. When I picked them up, they clearly had my old room number and date attached to the “lost item”. I really would have appreciated a two minute phone call or text message to let me know that I had left something behind. Luckily, I was still in the area to be able to pick them up. When I expressed my disappointment to the front desk about the lack of contact, a manager (I think) was there to immediately jump on me to let me know that it was my fault for leaving something behind. I completely and fully understand that it was my mistake that I left something behind, however it would have taken a two minute call to let me know and I would have immediately turned around to pick them up. My recommendation would be to simply just let guests know if they leave something substantial behind. Many of your guests are travelling and are unable to drive back to pick things up when they realize something is missing. Small things make a big difference in the service industry. :) Regardless, I’ll be back! It’s one of my faves in Sherwood Park.

Our stay was rather good, with a few minor observations. The hotel is an older property, though fairly well maintained. It appears they are working to modernize and maintain. The hotel is located in a great location with easy access to transit and downtown. Our room was clean and pleasant! I want to say it is a little dated, but I absolutely love it. The bed was super comfortable too. The room had limited outlet access for charging our many devices, especially near the bed. Not a big deal though. The other thing that I could have easily had them take care of, but wasn’t a big deal. They provided two bath towels, one of which was super tiny and something you’d find in an economy hotel. It was fine and I could have easily called down for more. The staff were all friendly. The front desk staff were nice and pleasant. Perhaps a little overwhelmed at times. If and when I am back in Edmonton, this property is on the top of my list of hotels to stay.

After checking in, the hotel charged two extra room charges because of communication problems with Ctrip.com and checked out 5.12, which has not been processed so far. Excellent location. It's easy to go anywhere.

The hotel room IS a little dated, but our room was clean and comfortable. The AC system worked perfectly, the bed was a dream. On site covered parking was helpful. Cora's breakfast restaurant is attached to the hotel which is another winner for me. If you don't need fancy, this is the place to stay. Rob at the Front Desk was delightful - friendly, funny and helpful! I would book a stay here again

Okay, this place is cleaned every two days. A bottle of water is given every two days. There is a quite small indoor swimming pool. If breakfast is not included, it is best to buy tickets at the hotel front desk, which can save two or three Canadian dollars per breakfast.

We recently stayed at the Sandman Signature in Sherwood Park for a family wedding. The hotel and suite was perfect and all the guests were very pleased with the Group Booking rate. Loved the fact we were offered a suite upgrade for a very reasonable addition. Reception and Housekeeping staff were all very professional, knowledgeable and personable. The hotel and suite were extremely clean, with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom with double sinks and rain shower. Quiet location close to amenities and lots of parking! We stayed here after being bumped from Travelodge Edmonton Airport last-minute due to overbooking. We were very fortunate to find a room, as most hotels were sold-out due to Garth Brooks being in town and since we were attending a wedding we were worried we would have to back-out of it due to this. Luckily that was not the case! The hotel was older but exceptionally clean! The pool and breakfast room were closed due to renovations but we did not care because we would not have used these amenities anyway (we were on a tight schedule). Service was great! Super friendly and professional. We dealt with Mary Jasnoor at check-in and again check-out. She was super sweet and helped us forget the terrible experience we had earlier in the day (see my other review for Travelodge Edmonton Airport) Thank you for a very good stay!

We needed a pet friendly hotel and found this hotel. I am so glad that we found this place. I am a big supporter of the Choice Hotel group. The price was in our budget. We were given a ground floor room which was perfect! The room was nice and clean and our dog loved it there. We were able to park right in front of the patio doors to our room. The front desk staff were very friendly and very helpful. Right next door to the hotel is a great restaurant...Taste of Persia. They have a great breakfast menu. We will definiety stay there, whenever we are in Edmonton!

Great 4 night stay! Spacious room (executive suite) and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was OK, there seemed to be a variety of food available. I couldn't eat it because of onions and peppers in the main course (eggs and meat). Internet was very reliable. The staff is great! There are several restaurant options close by. At the moment, there is some street construction that makes getting to the parking lot minimally challenging. There was no noticeable noise impact from this work though.

The place was sparkling cleaned, the linens smells freshly washed, the breakfast had a variety of choices and most specially the Filipina staff was so friendly and accommodating. We checked in at around 7-7:30pm.
