2-Star Hotels in El Segundo

Overall stay was good. However, the hotel charged me again even though my stay was fully paid. Had to contact Trip.com to liaise with the hotel. These were the extras that should not have happened in the 1st place.

This should not be called a hotel, it should be counted as a motel. Anyway, it will not surprise you. It can only be used for temporary accommodation to catch a flight. The price is not very high. If you have requirements for a hotel, don’t choose it. It is not the same as other hotels around the airport. comparability.

The bed is very big, two big one and one nap are no problem, the facilities and equipment are relatively new, the hilton's are relatively good, the room is considered spacious, and the toiletries are very good.

The room environment is very good and very comfortable. The surrounding environment is good. Opposite there is the famous local IN N OUT burger restaurant, which is said to be a must-eat burger in California. There is also a Chinese restaurant opposite, and the fried noodles are delicious.

We stayed two nights in May and really were happy with it. It was a very busy weekend for events around town and for the same price, we would have to have looked at two star hotels, which we were hoping not to do. Check-in was fine. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice. Room was nice, no complaints at all about aesthetics or cleanliness. We didn’t eat there. The bar and eating areas seemed popular in the morning. The area is safe but not interesting in any way. Definitely would suggest coming with a car. Food on sight is on the pricey side, but the selection looked good. A few restaurants around but not walkable. I thought it was an excellent value.

The location is great, with many restaurants and stores close by. The hotel what you would expect, it serves its purpose. The room were clean but dark, not enough lighting for my taste. There was a strong sewer smell coming up from the shower. There was the same smell in my friends room, luckily ours wasn't as strong as theirs. The breakfast area does have a few items but it's very expensive. You are better off walking to the Starbucks across the street. The biggest problem was housekeeping. Two out of the 3 days that we were there there was no housekeeping service even when we requested in the front desk. When we called (3rd day) to complain the manager that they were short staffed and housekeeping was every other day. That didn't make sense because by that logic we would've had the service on the first and third days. Then we questioned why this policy wasn't explained upon check in, or when we requested the service. The manager got defensive and started yelling at my wife on the phone. We then requested towels from him which were never delivered. I had to call and talk to someone else to get the towels. Checking out there was one person at the front desk so I just handed my key card, needed to catch a flight. To my surprise the bill was charged wrong so had to call to get it straighten out. No one returned my call after I disputed the charges. I had to get in contact with Marriott customer service for it to get resolved. It seems the hotel's staff is either overwhelmed or just don't care. The encounter with the manager over the phone really put a sour taste. I would have to think twice to stay there again specially having so many choices around.Show less

Front desk, housekeeping and restaurant are all welcoming and accommodating. It feels like home. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. The location is close to restaurants and Los Angeles International airport.

Clean quiet room, nice pool and hot tub, classic ”pre-COVID” complementary breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, bagels muffins etc. Fitness center was better than most hotels, that even included a rowing machine. Love the Hyatt appreciation of their guests.

We chose the Residence Inn at a meeting point for family that were traveling from all over the Pacific Coast. The hotel is very close to LAX so that was convenient. Check in and parking ($13) were super easy. Our 2 bedroom unit was very clean and comfortable for our family. We had a chance to use the jacuzzi that was hot and the pool was heated. Jessika (sp) was very attentive and kind, even with the multiple requests that we made. She never once made us feel like we were bothering her, even while juggling lots of other tasks. The breakfast crew was very friendly and the offerings were plentiful. They adhered to covid protocols and everything was very clean and organized. Lots of places to eat were close by, we even walked 2 blocks to The Toyota Sports Performance Center to eat dinner. It is where the LA Kings practice, if you're a hockey fan you must check it out.
