The Metro Pod Backpackers AC Hostel

Very basic facilities and no charging points near the bed. Only one single mirror in the washroom.

Good facilities neat and clean rooms and washrooms, i will prefer metro pod during my next visit to kochi

It's a very good, clean and neat place. The location is near ernakulam junction railway station and maharajas metro station. It's an old style building which is interesting. They have bunk beds with blanket provided with and without ac. You have the space to lock your belongings under your bed with a key. Common toilets and bathrooms are clean. They have a work/study area on the top floor, which also is pretty good. You have a personal light and a usb charging point beside your bed. There is a water purifier for drinking water. The staffs are good and helpful. There is wifi i guess, but i didn't have the need to use it so can't comment on it. Two things though, 1) there are no curtains for the beds. It is needed for privacy and for blocking the light in the night in case someone turns on the light. That's a problem 2) there are mosquitos in the read/work area and most of the interior. I took the ac dormitory so no mosquitoes in there. But except there everywhere you can expect mosquitoes. Overall i had a great time ) suggestions to the owner: 1) fix curtains for all the beds 2) attach mosquito net for every windows in every floor

It was a great place, near and i enjoyed staying there at a very budget friendly place.

Everything was descent, washrooms are neat and clean, just i suggests to have a separate curtain for each bunk bed, because anyone turn on the lights makes sleep disturb

It was a nice and good experience it's my second time in this hotel. The staffs are so friendly. Also a good service from them.

Better service & neatness. Suggest for groups also good. If you need towel they will provide 1 for 15rs
