Stunning stay at the Riomar as part of the Jwellness fitness retreat. A perfect location for it. The rooms are of a very high standard, clean and tidy with beautiful products to use. The hotel itself is very clean and tidy. Breakfast is absolutely lovely with a fab choice of food of very good quality. The pool area is lovely and clean and the tribe garden is a wonderful bonus. The only downside would be the amount of sunbeds around the pool when the hotel is busy as there are nowhere near enough! Staff lovely and friendly. Stunning location on the beach in Santa Eulària. Will definitely be returning!

Last minute booking and great value for money, whilst the photos are great on the Mongibelio Web site they don't tell the full story. I was expecting a slightly dated looking hotel but infact I found a modern, clean and efficient hotel with excellent facilities, friendly and efficient staff . The room was immaculate, the cleanness was of the highest standard, as was the food and overall condition of the hotel. In fact whilst the hotel appears to be of slightly older design that can be deceiving due to the perfect state of everything from paintwork, sun loungers, towels and pillows bedding and all fixtures n fittings. The breakfast selection, freshness and quality of food was immense and of a high quality, everything you might desire was available, as an example the choice of 5 different types of milk from full fat to oat milk. The hotel felt like a throw back to the 50s and 60s , wall art depicting classic 50s and 60s lifestyle of the rich,the music played at breakfast from 50s jazz to frank Sinatra , classic icons like an original jukebox , books and other memorabilia extolling this amazing time and even a beautiful old red Alfa Romeo convertible . The friendly and efficient staff amazed and my guess is that the hotel owner is a lover of the bye gone days of the 50s and early 60s, a perfectionist to detail and this hotel is more than a business , its his or hers passion and it shows to all who enter. In summary, due to the location and experience we had in this lovely part of the coast with this hotel as our base l would have no hesitation in giving it my fullest recommendation. A fantastic hotel for a couples getaway, we stayed for a week and the staff were great especially reception and Marc on the roof Terrace pool bar . We had lunch a couple of times in the restaurant upstairs, which was fantastic as were the cocktails. We had a Boheme double room ground floor opened up onto the pool Which was amazing, honestly couldn’t fault a thing will be returning definitely

I recently stayed at Mondrian Cala Llonga, and while the setting and decor are beautiful, the overall experience did not meet the standards expected of a 5-star hotel. Pros: • The setting is stunning, with breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. • The hotel’s decor is stylish, and the room was comfortable and well-designed. Cons: • We had a very distressing experience when we got trapped in the lift for 45 minutes. Despite pressing the emergency button multiple times, we received no response. After calling the hotel reception ourselves and still getting no help, we had to contact the hotel next door to inform Mondrian that we were stuck. After what felt like an eternity, we were finally rescued, with my wife in tears and deeply upset. • We raised this serious health and safety issue with the manager, who promised to follow up. However, all we received was a bottle of cava in the room. When we readdressed our concerns at check-out, we were promised further contact, but never heard anything. • The bar service was very slow, with no menus or drinks brought to us despite waiting. Shockingly, the bar had run out of all gins during our stay. • Breakfast service was terrible due to understaffing. The staff were rushed off their feet, and the quality of service suffered as a result. • Coffee pods in the room were not replaced after the first day, leaving us without coffee for the remainder of the stay. This hotel is in no way a 5-star establishment—it’s much more akin to a 4-star. For comparison, we stayed at Petunia Ibiza, another 5-star hotel, and the difference was stark. Petunia is miles ahead in every aspect, from service to quality. Mondrian Cala Llonga has potential but needs significant improvements in service and management to reach true 5-star status.

After a disastrous trip was cut short we decided to return to palladium Cala Llonga as we know they are very accomadating and that my fiance with a bleach allergy would be catered for. Staff are great and the resteraunt has always got something you would eat. The bay is beautiful and the weather food.

We have recently stayed for a week at Hyde on half board. As a hotel I think it has a lot of potential, the decor is very nice throughout the hotel and is in a great location, close to the beach. However, if you want a traditional half board experience, this probably isn’t the place for you. The only buffet type meal you get is at breakfast, and despite there being plenty of options, everything was cold every day. They need to sort out how they run breakfast as they just bulk make too much and it’s left under lamps that clearly don’t keep things warm. Very disappointed with the breakfast overall. There were 3 sit down restaurants you can choose from, including a Japanese which was fantastic. The main restaurant is closed Friday and Saturday evening which doesn’t really make sense as a hotel. They give you €50 credit per person, per meal to use, but it seems there is no communication between the restaurants and the hotel as I got charged even more money off my card after paying a deposit, as they didn’t communicate that I’m half board. This was very frustrating. As mentioned, a hotel with great potential but breakfast needs fixing and the operations of a half board experience needs improvement.
