Friendly welcome, ideal for an overnight business stay. Plenty of car parking and big enough spaces for a range rover.
Food was good and the doombar were good pints with plenty of froth, a poor bar can serve a flat one, but staff were welcoming with a good pint!
Some rooms are motel style with doors directly into the car park, so you may hear the early starters from these.
Well situated for Exeter, in particular marsh barton trading estate where i had meetings. I would stay again.

The hotel itself good and clean but one of the dinning staff made us feel like punished kids. Whenever we asked about the kids menu she was rude and replied in an unkind way. Unfortunately, when we went to the breakfast the same lady was in-charge from our table as well. Last day for lunch and dinner we avoided the restaurant even if the food was really delicious we choose another place which is served respectfully to us.

All staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and good quality. However paying more than £300 for a two night stay next to an extremely busy road, guests can sit outside their rooms next to the car park, which results in more noise until the early hours. Breakfast is located in another building. I would not stay again

This hotel was a fantastic find. A brilliant location for a West Country road trip and quick and convenient bus service into Exeter if needed. The mattress and pillows in the room were very comfortable and the room was very very quiet. All the staff I spoke to, in both the hotel and in Carriages, were very kind and helpful and really looked after me. I enjoyed a fantastic Carvery in Carriages on the Sunday night, complete with all the trimmings , and breakfast was also delicious and gave you all the choice you could possibly wish for. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel and hope to have the chance to return again soon

Our experience at the hotel was exceptional. The room was immaculate, and the staff was incredibly polite and helpful. We were especially impressed with the food quality; some good options. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

This was a last minute booking. The room was clean, the staff friendly and the food was excellent. We only stayed for one night but wished our stay in Devon previous to this hotel was of this quality. The evening meal was a choice of carvery or al a carte - both excellent. It is great to visit a hotel with a decent carvery. For us it was no bother but you had a short walk outside to get to the restaurant.
