Super 8 by Wyndham Fort Smith

There was no Wi-Fi signal, the room and furniture was run down. The other residents were sketchy. My room was cleaned out before my check out time while I was at an interview. I usually prefer super 8 for it's balance of quality and affordability but this one isn't great

Noisy outside, breakfast was only coffee and orange juice nothing else, air conditioner had to be turned on lowest temperature and highest fan speed to work.

There was exposed wiring in the bathrooms. The wall electrical was busted open. The TV remotes did not work on TVs was not advised of any password or anything for the Internet when I went back down to the desk there was no one to be found for over an hour, the cost of the room was extremely well but now I understand why at 1 AM there was a huge fight outside. I went to the managers office to see if it could be resolved, and once again, no staff was found, even after ringing the bells several times, no in the room. Very unfortunate experience for being Wyndham hotels

Filthy floors, burns in blanket, doesn't serve breakfast like advertised, no clock or phone in rooms. No hair dryer, coffee pot, basic hotel room essentials either. Was quiet at least since no one wanted to stay there.

Seeing the name Super 8 and Wyndham going through ***********, we thought we'd be assured of a decent room. Wrong! We started cringing going through the area that we ended up finding the hotel at. Peering through a hole at the hotel attendant also brought worry at the fortified office they were in. Going to our outside room it was apparent sex and drug deals were happening right in front of us. We opened the door to hundreds of flies, sagging curtains with strange "gloops" hanging off of them, broken table and chair. Stunk like smoke (supposed to be non-smoking), large cigarette burn holes in bedspread and pillowcases, grungy/dirty overall, no refrigerator...just an empty space for it, and then the air conditioner would NOT go off that had been set to 60. After four trips to the office (they gave us Lysol spray and a flyswatter to use) we were moved to another room on the inside part that faced grass area. It was cleaner (to the eye at least) but the TV wouldn't work and at that point we didn't care. We did move and park our car in front of the office facing the street as that seemed safer then on the sides or back. Don't stay at this place.
