I have no idea how this hotel has a high rating because it is terrible!! They use their parking lots for downtown patrons and hotel guests do not have priority so you may/may not get a spot and may/may not be able to access your car. The parking garage is tiny and DISGUSTINGLY dirty and smelly. There are piles of garbage bags four feet high, a dead mouse, and a dead bird—and I was trying not to look. The inside of the hotel is barely surface clean. When you look closer, the tiles are popping up, the carpet is stained and dirty, the rooms are grimy. There was ZERO housekeeping available for the entirety of our stay. We were here for 3 days and never once did we see ANYONE cleaning the high-touch surfaces or vacuuming the floors. The bar is closed during the weeknights. The lobby and elevator REEK of fake air freshener—so much so that I dreaded going inside. The same piles of trash and food wrappers were outside the doors and in the stairwell for our entire stay. We asked to speak to a manager and were told they would be down in a minute, they were cleaning rooms, they were off work—all in the same 3 hours so we never talked to a manager. The front desk lady nodded and stared at us vacantly when we were expressing our concerns. The front desk guy the first night was helpful and nice. We looked at other hotels that were cheaper but this one looked nice so we thought we’d give it a try. Wish we hadn’t. Do not stay here.

I recently stayed here for 4 nights in April. We have mixed emotions about this place. If you’re looking strictly for an ok place to sleep at nights, this will likely do the trick. If you’re looking for quality or amenities, look elsewhere. I was disappointed when we found out the pool, hot tub, gym, and ice machine were all “out of order”. If those are important things, you may want to call in advance to verify their status. All of the employees we encountered were rather friendly. The breakfast was what I expected if not a little better. Your basic waffle maker, bacon, toast, and eggs. The one thing I would mention is the area that this hotel is located in is um suspect at best. It’s directly off the highway which is great for access but that’s about it. We encountered countless homeless folks. Right up the road are a few ***** clubs. This just isn’t a place I would bring kids to stay at. The parking lot at night is pretty questionable. I would highly recommend parking as close to the front entrance as possible. The room was clean and was fine. The dead bolt lock was totally broken and was laughable. Overall the moral of the story is, you get what you pay for.

We recently stayed at this property while visiting our son in college. We were given the wrong room at check in although we did not know that until later. At around 11pm we woke up to loud voices in the hall and someone trying to get into a room. A few minutes later there was loud knocking on our door and someone was trying to get into OUR room. The person said he was with the hotel and wanted to know our name. My husband got dressed and went to the door and told them our name. I can't understand why they needed that information since we had an advance reservation, I'm a Marriott member, they had our credit card on file and we gave an ID at check-in. That's when the employee told us they had give us the wrong room. What did they expect to happen at 11pm- that we would vacate the room? We found out the next morning that the hotel was sold out, which made the situation even more confusing since the guests who booked the room we were given also had an advance reservation. The employee who had knocked on our door said he asked the manager- Victor Rivera- what to do about the situation in terms of an apology and was told to just apologize for the inconvenience. I reached out to Marriott and they credited my Marriott account 10,000 points. Seriously, for giving us the wrong room and then being rudely awakened? There are so many hotels to choose from and we will certainly think very carefully before selecting a Marriott brand again. I feel totally undervalued as a guest!

Nice clean hotel. EXCELLENT water pressure and that’s hard to find at hotels in this area. Mattresses are cheap & hard! Outdated decor. Cold AC though. Bring your own water/drinks $4 a water! Small flat screen TV in room. Overall only complaint was beds. Expected better for the Marriott.

My husband and I stayed as a part of a group playing in a golf tournament. On the morning of our check-out I walked outside to find our car had been broken into overnight. I spoke to the desk clerk about surveillance cameras and she said the only person who could help me was the manager, Dion, who was off that day. I left my number with her and asked that she have him call me. I called the hotel two days later, after not receiving a call-back and spoke to the front desk rep concerning the surveillance camera’s once again. She informed me that I had to call the police (which I did immediately following the discovery of the break-in) and the hotel would provide the information to whatever detective was assigned to the case. I replied to the representative that she seemed versed in these matters and that break-ins on the property must happen often. She didn’t reply. I left my number and asked, once again, for the manager to call me back. I spoke to the manager, Dion, later that morning. He came off as very rude and condescending, especially considering the damage to my car on the hotel property. He basically told me the hotel was not responsible and they had no obligation to do anything in the matter. I let him know that as a Titanium Elite member of Marriot (meaning I had over 75 night stays at Marriot properties last year) I have not encountered his lack of quality customer service before. I do not recommend the property for the safety of your vehicle and the substandard customer service provided by Dion, the on-site manager.
