Best Hotels near Old Town of Galle and its Fortifications, Galle

It was the amazing place i have visited. Had a great welcome from front line staff. Room is perfect and had a great view. Dinner and breakfast was amazing and very tasty. Breakfast bufet had a wide selection of western and local food. I requested to arrange a birthday cake at the breakfast time and they were arranged a tasty cake with special birthday surprise. Overall can be give 10 out of 10.

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay although in some respects it was inferior to other hotels I stayed in on the holiday. The pools were great and so was the view from the room. The room itself was alright - quite basic but sufficient. We did have problems with a leak in the ceiling which was promptly addressed by staff but still a little annoying. In general the staff were lovely: in particular Chamindu in the restaurant, a security guard who called me and my partner over to show us turtles on the beach (sorry, can't remember his name) and the guy working the sunloungers at the lower pool. The weakest part was probably the food. It wasn't bad exactly, it was just worse than the food in all the other hotels I stayed in.

The infinity pool of Bawa architecture is a wonderful hotel. Many of the customers seemed to be from Sri Lanka. There were many people like honeymooners, but there were surprisingly many families and families. Although the hotel was a little old, it was solidly built and there was no problem with the plumbing. Service outside the restaurant was very good. The restaurant seems to take more than 30 minutes to bring out what you ordered at lunch. And it was a little cold. Coffee for breakfast also took quite a while to come out. Housekeeping and receptionists were very nice.

The hotel is an old star hotel. The big hotel that is relatively far away will be much quieter. The swimming pool will not be like dumplings, there is a private beach, breakfast 48 yuan is not worth it, nothing to eat, every day depends on eating fruit. The staff is good, they all smile, and the beaches of the turtles are very close. The nearby MAMAS is also good for eating.

The location is a little bit biased, but it ’s okay because it ’s all-inclusive. When you enter, you need to go through security checks. Welcome drinks are available. The room is relatively rudimentary. Take a bath at 1600. We do n’t even have a bathtub. The location of Ctrip Booking is not good. On the far side, there is no view outside, and it is farthest from the restaurant and swimming pool. In the bar building, the first night was too noisy. I called the front desk three times to negotiate No fruit, it was quiet until 11 o'clock in the evening, there are 4 restaurants, it is said that Asian restaurants are the best, because there are prawns, you can eat for 24 hours, but personally feel that eating up to two meals will be tired because of things Most of the duplicates are fish and chicken pizzas. The hotel staff were very enthusiastic. They would greet us with a smile whenever they saw it. It was great for us to relax and spend a few days on vacation around the island in Sri Lanka.

We were booked at another hotel within Galle Fort which told us they had double booked and there was no room for us for one night - so The Heritage was our second choice. We liked the place so much we cancelled the first hotel we had booked and stayed at The Heritage for our entire holiday. Its a quiet, clean, spacious hotel with wonderfully warm and friendly staff. Our room was large with probably the largest bed we had ever slept on and the bathroom was also spacious. We loved the huge veranda with comfy lounge chairs, a perfect place for reading and chilling. On site free parking is a huge bonus for a hotel inside the Fort. The food is very good and the Sri Lankan coffee is excellent. The lovely garden with Araliya trees next to the dining area is very relaxing. The spa is small but the therapists are excellent and the prices are reasonable. We had to check out early and the staff were very accommodating, making sure we had an excellent early breakfast before departure. The location of the hotel is great, very central to many restaurants, shops, the ramparts and all the other attractions of the beautiful Galle Fort. We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hotel and we will definitely be back.

I arrived at the hotel very early in the afternoon, and I printed the order number (English version) of Ctrip, but it was still delayed for a long time. But we upgraded the room type: sea view room (room 206). The check-in experience was still great. Because the previous nights were reserved for special hotels, I chose Asia Leisure for the last night because it is a new hotel in 2018. It is indeed new and I was not disappointed. Meals: Two restaurants, we ordered food and spent 26,000 rupees, which is still very cost-effective. Breakfast is a cafeteria, and children need to make up the difference. Location: 15 minutes walk from Galle Fort, it is very convenient to go there by tutu for 300-400 rupees. Supporting facilities: The sight of the outdoor swimming pool is great, you can see the sea view and the towering ancient city, because it is located in the air outlet, it is only open until 8 o'clock every night. The types of equipment in the gym on the G floor are average.

This hotel is the most impressive and satisfying one in the entire Sri Lankan itinerary. It completely exceeded expectations and surpassed the other two heritage hotels in my heart. The hotel has only 4 rooms with English-style butler service. It is very quiet and can provide better services. You can choose the breakfast you want according to your own taste (there are local style, Western European style and various options). You can tell the housekeeper the meal time and food the day before, and the next morning will be specially made for you and delivered to the room or in the room. The open-air dining bar at the entrance, anyway, the overall service is butler-style, plus the overall decoration style, this kind of style has only been seen in British dramas before, I really love this kind of place, if it is not for the next day, I really want to If you stay for a few more days, Galle itself is a bit similar to Gulangyu Island in China. What a fantastic place! It’s a beautiful old house with spacious comfortable rooms, an amazing collection of furniture, artwork, old prints and photos, as well as an extensive and eclectic library. The staff are all very friendly and very helpful. I needed to see a doctor : in discussion, we decided it would be both cheaper and quicker for me to go to the outpatients at Asiri private hospital- they offered to accompany me. In fact, I went alone and it was a very easy, efficient, and cheap process- much more so than getting care in that situation in New Zealand. There is a pool, the best we enjoyed in Sri Lanka. The food is great and generous serves. We were very happy to have stayed there rather than the centre of Galle: it is in a quiet, peaceful area, and a reasonable walk or a short tuk tuk ride from the historic centre. We couldn’t have had a better experience.
