Hotel Bristol Palace

A very beautiful hotel.

Well located in the centro storico.. Smart decor throughout hotel. Smartly dressed, pleasant and helpful restaurant and front desk staff. First class breakfast, and good evening dinners in the Giorgio restaurant too. Let down by (female) front desk manager’s failure to address problems. 1- unacceptable bedroom noise from the restaurant service area above-10pm to 1am, and 7am onwards - we will move your room. 2- 3 maids trolleys parked outside our door, 24/7, for 3 days - we are short of storage space. Have a free bar drink….. 3- unacceptable behaviour of a guest in evening fine dining restaurant - ( he was moved ) - why don’t you find another hotel…. Excuse me?? Address the issues- solve the problems head on- a free drink is so irrelevant The complimentary bottle was returned…..

Having let the hotel know in advance that we were celebrating our 30th anniversary we can’t say we were impressed when we arrived to find we had been given the worst room in the hotel-sandwiched between the kitchen and the lift shaft (228-AVOID) The door had a crack down the side which let the hall light shine through all night and we were awoken before 6am. We complained, and were moved but it left a rather bad taste. The staff were VERY nice, from the reception staff to the bar and doormen.
