Beautiful property great service,value for money. but far from centre.

The overall environment and facilities are good, and the reception at the front desk is also very warm, but it is really noisy. Someone held a wedding in the hotel that night. There was a party all the time, the music was loud, and fireworks were set off at night. The next morning There are relatively few breakfast categories?

The service at the front desk is very good. There is a car pick-up and drop-off for nearby tours. There is a delicious pizza shop next door.

The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, well attended to and the décor is nice. Breakfast is also good. The landscapes are well maintained, the parking is convenient. HOWEVER, BEWARE!!! This hotel is actually an event venue, so there is a wedding / party every night, with loud music until very late. They operate fireworks on site, which is a shock when you hear the explosions right above your head.... and NO, nobody warned us about what's to come every night.

Excellent 3 night stay at the beautiful Villa Zagare, wonderful gardens and pool. Clean, spacious and comfortable beds without outstanding bar, restaurant and staff. New Chef Gianluca presented delicious dinners with 5 star service from Vincenzo who ensured we enjoyed every meal. The reception staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was the best. The driver drove us all over the area and was waiting for us at points of pick up. We've been on holiday from NZ in Italy for 3 months and this was our best hotel experience.

How this hotel does not have 5 stars is beyond me. We reached out last minute after a terrible customer service experience at another hotel and Daniela, at the other end of the phone, was so incredible. Although there were no family rooms available they did have a brand new apartment close to the hotel free. We could avail ourselves of all the hotel's amenities (breakfast, pool, bar, etc.) throughout. The apartment was perfect, but what impressed me most was the the level of customer service. Everyone, from the team preparing for the weddings being hosted while we were there, to Elena and the team in the restaurant was attentive and warm. Thank you again Daniela, Maria, Marika and Elena for making our stay so memorable. You deserve that extra star...I'm sure it's on its way. Also, make sure you visit the Scavi di Stabbia and Pizzeria da Iolanda while you are in Gragnano.

Perfect hotel, great / engaged staff, clean, just a great visit. Stayed 4 days, will return. Guessing, I believe the hotel finances this beautiful venue mostly through weddings/parties/communes etc with its pros & cons. Pros - the place is kept in impecable shape/order; Cons - festivities into the night & pool access till 12pm. Ref pool, we were lucky as we were given access to the pool the whole day Monday and Tuesday - Luxury. Why Dangerous - exits/entrance to hotel. @ Hotel mgmt, fixing the mirror when leaving the spacuous parking and exiting onto the busy road would be a rather easy safety measure. Another one would be lighting - Yestetday your staff of four had to push a furniture piece on the road (in the dark) and up the hill, it was dark and very dangerous! We walked to the resataurant Lolanda, good visit but a dangerous walk, no fault of the hotel. Be Safe

I am trying to catch my breath from extreme exhaustion and extreme anger that is running through my veins at this very moment as we are still actually staying at this hotel!!!!!! Before I get to the worst part of this experience let me say that the staff here at the front is great I actually appreciated all the help that they provided and at times I felt they were going above and beyond I actually wouldn’t mind staying here but under one condition! to either have my own car or to not trust their taxi system. I just spent almost an hour walking home after 3 ATTEMPTS to contact a pick up! I actually waited a few minutes after the ETA of the longest point in time which the lady told my girlfriend 10 minutes so I waited maybe 13 or 14 minutes and not that point I was starting to feel very hopeless!!!! My girlfriend stayed at the place and pick up because she has a hard time walking she did have some money on her just in case if she had to call a regular cab at least I know she would’ve reached home at some point or I would’ve raced hell at the hotel and would’ve gone with the taxi cab driver to go pick her up. Everything was going great here but that just ruined the experience at this place. I hope any American reading this or anyone who is not Italian or a part of the system out here would be wise to hear this experience and make sure you either have a Plan B or if I were you completely avoid their taxi system!!!!!

A highly recommended stay at this family run hotel. Excellent service, cleanliness and hospitality. The owner and the staff always went the extra mile to provide fantastic customer service. The location is within easy reach to Pompeii and also Sorrento by train. We dined in the hotel regularly and the food is always to a very high standard. Make sure you try the limoncello and homemade gelato! We will definitely return again in the future. Thank you to Ciro, family and all the staff.

Very nice big mini suite with big terrace in an ancient style. Very clean. Pleasant staff. The dinner was disappointing. Everything was very salty. Too much! Brakfast was good. The spa was closed at December.

The entertainers are terrible, they force the children to play and don't give them freedom. Then the dishes were not very convincing and the entertainers did not give the children the opportunity to sit on the benches. I am very disappointed. HI!

We got married on November 24, 2023, everything was exceptional, all the guests were speechless throughout the reception. We sincerely thank the entire structure and all the staff, they made us feel at home from the first moment, pampered, supported and supported in every thought, everything taken care of down to the smallest detail: the precision in serving the dishes without allergens (the celiacs present they reported that they had never eaten so well), the precision of the setup, the kindness with which we were treated, the dream SPA we had the next day, the cleanliness and professionalism there too, in following us through all the steps. We will forever thank you for making the most important day of our lives so perfect.

We stayed at Villa le Zagare for 4 days. Slightly dated and retro building in Gragnano, slightly outside the city centre. Clean and comfortable rooms but strong soundproofing would be needed, because you can hear everything and you can't sleep. Bed not very comfortable and toilet seat a bit narrow. We don't have breakfast; buttery croissants and cakes not 4 stars. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice outdoor garden.

Very nice hotel, even if the rooms have dated furnishings they are spotless, spacious and equipped with various comforts. Ditto the bathrooms: spacious and clean. Our room had a huge terrace overlooking Vesuvius. The garden, the atrium and the various well-kept and bright rooms are beautiful. Rich breakfast. However, the snacks in the minibar (for a fee) were stale, the staff could "smile" more. Still, excellent hotel.
