The staff was friendly and helpful. The place itself had obviously seen better days. Particularly the bathroon was run-down and the room door did not close well--a lot of light from the hall came through around the door.

We reserved a table for dinner with friends the night before our wedding and were blown away by the food! Homemade with love. We highly recommend the burgers and the Ragu. Service was brilliant, couldn’t fault her. We didn’t stay at the hotel but if we would judge the hospitality on the service and food we received in the restaurant, we’d definitely be back. Thank you!

Nous avons passé une excellente nuitée dans cet hôtel très bien situé à Gretna. Accueil très chaleureux et très convivial de la maîtresse des lieux. La chambre que nous avons occupée était très confortable, spacieuse et très bien équipée en tous points. Petit-déjeuner buffet tout à fait copieux et pris dans une très belle salle de même que le dîner du soir délicieux. Everything went as expected. Although dated in decor the staff were friendly and professional. We requested additional pillows and despite being told they were busy and might take some time, they arrived in less than 30 minutes.

We have just spent a very pleasant day and night in this very confortable hotel situated at Gretna. The room we occupied was very spacious and calm. Dinner was fine and substantial just like the breakfast we had in the morning. We highly recommend this hotel. Michel and Marie Moulin Lyon France
