Fabulous historic hotel in the center of the beautiful YueXiu district. Rooms are huge, staff is efficient, speaks English, and very polite. Rooms have high ceilings, huge windows and very well decorated in a classic but super comfortable classical China style. Yuexiu Park metro station is 5 min walk, and next door is a Starbucks and McDonalds. Across the street is a new mall with lots of Chinese restaurants. It’s also about a 10 minute walk from Guangzhou’s famous clothing wholesale markets. Hotel lobby is huge and totally fabulous! Staying here makes you feel like you are living a life of luxury, but still at a reasonable price. One thing I would tell the staff to improve : showers need to be scrubbed better because any mold in the shower is unacceptable, even a little. This is a common problem in China, different standards than western cultures I guess. Otherwise, this is the place to stay. Standard Rooms here are a lot larger than at the China Hotel next door, and usually rooms rates for both properties are similar. Why not stay at Dong Fang and get a nicer room for the same price ?

Great hotel, really good quality price ratio. Very conveniently located close to Yuexiu Park and the metro station for Line 2. Close to Guangzhou Train Station South. Great buffet breakfast at the Veranda Cafe. And if you're in the mood for fast food there is a Burger King, Starbucks and a Domino's in the same block. I will book this hotel again if I'm back on GZ.

It is a wonderful option to stay in Guangzhou. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is located a few meters from the pedestrian street and that gives it a privileged location to move around on foot. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am and there are good Chinese and Western menu options. Just note that it is no longer a hotel operated by Holliday inn but is now called Voco.

First of all, I would like to praise all the service staff, especially the duty manager Peter, who communicated with me about the housing needs before my mother and I checked in, fully understood the core needs of the residents, and made arrangements that moved the customers. It was very considerate. The hotel has a great location and the decoration is elegant and dignified. We are traveling. The station in front of the hotel is connected in all directions. We can reach many famous attractions without even needing a subway. The room is designed according to the specifications of a hotel apartment, and is equipped with a washing machine, microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle, and coffee machine. I live in a suite, and the washing machine has a drying function. In Guangzhou, which is hot and hot, it is very convenient for me, who has to wash and dry clothes every day. The hairdryer is from Dyson, and the room is thoughtfully equipped with electric mosquito coils and a steam ironing machine. You can feel that the staff want to make guests feel at home. There are plenty of USB charging sockets in the room, which is convenient and user-friendly. There is PILLOW MENU where you can choose the pillow that suits you. The housekeeping staff even found out that I drink coffee every day, so they put some extra coffee capsules in the bag so that I could drink it with peace of mind😀 Although the hotel's catering is not yet complete, the scenery is almost non-existent, and the young service staff's response is a bit ****y. But you can feel the attitude of the other party trying to provide good service. In addition, the old central location just across the road from Beiyuan Restaurant can definitely be a reason to stay here again next time.

Given the high rating and reputation of this hotel, I was shocked by the conditions of the supposedly newly renovated rooms. I was staying at the standard room on the twelve floor , facing the historical buildings. We checked in after 10:30pm under the drizzles and chill - the outside temperature was around 10 degress. I noticed the holes of the linen of the blinds when they were rolled down, though it could still function. Yet, the light shield was worse. It was trapped on one side and could not be let down. The plus side was we were offered another room on the same floor immediately. Leo who helped to bring our luggage up was very polite and patient. He stayed outside our room when his colleague brought the new key of the new room and accompanied us to the new room to ensure everything was all right. He was worth 5 out of 5 for service. However, I would further explain why I only gave 4 out of 5 for service. Yet, the new room was smaller and for any other international hotels , from my experience, would offer an upgrade of the room. This hotel did not. Thats why I gave 4 out of 5 for service. The linen of the blinds in the new room was still far from 100%. I could still detect torn tissues , most probably because the blinds were dated. Thats why I gave a 3 out of 5 for facilities.

It's hygienic and clean. The location is excellent. The guy at the front desk is very friendly. The subway station is very close and the Chen Family Ancestral Scenic Area is nearby. Food and beverages are also very convenient. Takeaway is also very convenient when you’re tired, and there’s cute robot service. Small voice control management of the whole house, a very good experience!

This time I chose this hotel for a two-day weekend trip with my kids. It’s really the right place. All the delicious food, drinks and fun things nearby are gathered in this business district. If you have enough time and really want to play for two more days, there are beautiful scenery along the way. I recommend it to you. The twin room booked online just in time for the opening of the hotel, so it was full of joy. Facilities: Check-in at the end of March 2024. The hotel is brand new. The room has Xiaodu voice-controlled TV, lighting, air conditioning, etc. There are also corresponding buttons. You can watch TV series from Central Channel 1 to Central Channel 13, as well as TV series from various places, including Hunan TV, Henan, Hebei, Guangdong, and cartoons, etc., all of which are free to watch. Cleanliness: Very clean, the room windows are large and very bright. The guest room aunt also changes the necessary items in the room every day. Environment: There are many restaurants around, and the hotel is right at the exit of Rainbow Bridge. The location is great. There is a restaurant at the subway entrance that makes thin rice noodles fried in a pot. It is only open at night and is delicious. There are two roads in front and behind the hotel selling food. Xihua Road has snail noodles, Cantonese desserts, shrimp wonton noodles, and oysters for $15 each. On the street behind there are countless Northeastern siomai, Guilin rice noodles, and pancakes. Service: Breakfast is provided, the front desk provides warm hospitality, the cleaning aunt works hard, and the front desk can issue invoices. Looking forward to your next stay!

Hands down the best hotel one can find at this price range, I booked for two days but ended up extended another two. Here is the list of things I truly appreciate: Attention to details : from coffee (I love their Yunnan coffee! to comfortable disposable slippers to awesome pillows , marvellous TV wallpaper) Technology : Xiaodu voice controlling of light, TV and curtains - I can't get enough talking to xiaoduxiaodu :D Location: just outside of xihua lu where u get best food in Guangzhou Shower: Great shampoo and shower gel and super good water pressure! Hotel is located about 50 meters away from Caihongciao metro station through either exit gates A or D. Needs to cross a pedestrian road and a side lane to reach the hotel. Hotel room is clean but slightly small. Near to shops and restaurants.

This is the second time I have booked this hotel, and I am not disappointed at all. It is the Guangxi office in Guangzhou, and all the equipment and environment are very good. Cheaper than other hotels with similar conditions, very cost-effective. The experience was good. This time the room also had wooden floors. The washbasin in the bathroom was two meters long and was very comfortable.

I went to Guangzhou on business and chose this hotel because of the good reviews. The hotel is near the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall and has its own small parking lot, which costs 40 yuan/24 hours. The room I stayed in was not big, but the hygiene was good. The room lighting and bed curtains were all one-button electronically controlled. The bed is very comfortable, a thumbs up. The front desk service attitude is very good, warm and polite. I will stay here again next time I come. After exiting the hotel, turn right and then turn right again. There is a Xidianhui Tea Restaurant about 200 meters away. The morning tea is very good. Locals dine there. Those who want to experience the local morning tea culture can go there.

This is the most comfortable apartment I have ever stayed in. The apartment sleeps quietly at night, the front desk staff is good, and the elevator is fast. I was on a business trip alone. Fortunately, the little brother at the front desk helped me with my luggage and was very enthusiastic. The room is clean and tidy, and the disposable items are very convenient. The front desk can store luggage and help collect express delivery. After staying for several days, the room was cleaned every day, saving me a lot of time.
