Hotels near Lanzhan in Guangzhou

Check in was fast. Front office staff was efficient with our booking even at 4am. Room provided is good. Most importantly it's clean (to our standard) and non smoking room. Offered to pick which floor to stay, we picked the highest floor so water pressure slightly low so unable to enjoy a pouring shower haha. But it's decent water pressure. Bed and sheets are all good and comfy to us. Toiletries and towels are provided too. Metro mrt station and long-distance train station both within the same building just across the hotel. By foot probably 100m away. No crossing of roads required. ”Guangzhou train station” is the name of the station. As long as you can get to metro in Guangzhou, it'll be all convenient to other parts of Guangzhou. At least that's to us. Only drawback in this area (not the hotel) is we can't find good f&b outlets. Just one or two coffee shop serving decent local noodles. Perhaps asking the front desk suggestion would help but we didn't. This side of Guangzhou is of older buildings and infra not the ultra modern high rise modern side of China. Two convenient stores located just at ground floor next to hotel. I'd recommend this hotel to others. All pictures are not related to the hotel or nearby hotel. Sorry about it. Don't be misled. Only picture related is the train station picture.

Location is great. Near 2 railway station and many market. Just the room needs to get more attention. The floor was wet when i checked it. Other than that, good place to stay at.

Good hotel for business trip and so kind service staff and front desk staff

Great hotel, really good quality price ratio. Very conveniently located close to Yuexiu Park and the metro station for Line 2. Close to Guangzhou Train Station South. Great buffet breakfast at the Veranda Cafe. And if you're in the mood for fast food there is a Burger King, Starbucks and a Domino's in the same block. I will book this hotel again if I'm back on GZ.

Fabulous historic hotel in the center of the beautiful YueXiu district. Rooms are huge, staff is efficient, speaks English, and very polite. Rooms have high ceilings, huge windows and very well decorated in a classic but super comfortable classical China style. Yuexiu Park metro station is 5 min walk, and next door is a Starbucks and McDonalds. Across the street is a new mall with lots of Chinese restaurants. It’s also about a 10 minute walk from Guangzhou’s famous clothing wholesale markets. Hotel lobby is huge and totally fabulous! Staying here makes you feel like you are living a life of luxury, but still at a reasonable price. One thing I would tell the staff to improve : showers need to be scrubbed better because any mold in the shower is unacceptable, even a little. This is a common problem in China, different standards than western cultures I guess. Otherwise, this is the place to stay. Standard Rooms here are a lot larger than at the China Hotel next door, and usually rooms rates for both properties are similar. Why not stay at Dong Fang and get a nicer room for the same price ?

The location is good and the transportation is convenient. You can get to the subway station in a few minutes. We chose the hotel to go to the Guangzhou Zoo. There is a free parking lot, which can be exempted until 2 pm. If you exceed , you have to pay more. You have saved a lot of parking fees. Self-service The breakfast was better than expected. Overall, the price/performance ratio is quite high. The overall hotel environment is also good.

The hotel is fairly new. Location is excellent. There are wholesale markets all are the hotel for bags & luggages. Fast food chains like Burger King, Pizza Hut, and McDonald’s all within close vicinity. The front desk staffs are very courteous and speaks English. The breakfast was ok consists of both local and continental. My flight arrived early at 6am and since rooms were able, I was able to check in at 10am without additional charges. The only drawback about the hotel that there are no safe lockers in rooms. Other than that I had a perfect stay at this hotel. Next time when I come back to Guangzhou, I would definitely stay here again. 

It took about 10min for me and my family to get there on foot, however there's no lift or elevator in the metro station (Exit A) which we are struggling to bring the luggages with us. The location of the hotel is good as it's right next to Yuexiu park and opposite Nanyue King Museum. The check in process is quite smooth, the staffs are helpful and approachable. The room is spacious and clean. The light, aircon, TV automatically switched on when we entered the room. We can choose the brightness of the light base on our need from 0%-100%. The food delivery robot is something I have never seen in other hotels, it should be a plus point, however as it's programmed in a way that you have to let the robot to enter and leave the lift before you. There's one time that we have experienced a congestion in the lift area when both food delivery robots blocked the pathway. One other concern we are facing is the Central aircon system, the weather gets cold but the room that we stay is pretty warm as the whole building changes to the heating mode. We have to open the window to wait for the room to cool down. Plus point of the hotel is we are able to deposit our luggage in the hotel for free of charge as our flight is during midnight hour. Overall it's a nice stay in the hotel. This hotel is in perfect location alot of small shops where everything is convenient. Highly recommend it. I booked one night and walked around near by this one just a stoop and go night. If your Guangzhou and need a place to stay go ahead and book this place. Also it's about 30 minutes walk to Xiao lu 小北， 小路。whichever you call it.

The room is very clean and tidy. It is opposite the subway and station. There are many restaurants 🍴 nearby. You can take a walk 🚶♀️. It is very good. I recommend it!
