I went for lunch with my kids, I read some reviews and decided to give it a shot. The buffet was good , nothing horrible but nothing outstanding either. After lunch, we wanted to go to the beach, so we asked the waitress and she pointed us to the Beach exit. When we got there, the gentleman at the exit stopped us and yelled at us stating that the exit was reserved for guests only. I explained to him that I had just finished my lunch and intended to leave to go to the beach. He proceeded to call the lifeguard, security (have pictures of all them harassing my family) . These people have never been trained on how to treat a guest, let alone a human being. I was second guessed and treated like a criminal for trying to use an exit that I was directed to in the first place. I chose to go back inside and have a word with the manager, she did apologize, but she had no control of the situation. I have visited many SOFITELS around the world, I use Trip Advisor as a reference with all my traveling plans and never felt so infuriated for being treated so poorly . Shame on the awful costumer service this Hotel offers, it is not even worthy of a ONE STAR.

The hotel is simply marvelous. The hotel staff is always available for you and they were very indeed and helpful. For example, they received us with the room climatized. The rooms were clean, including all the amenities. They have also small fridge. The hotel ambient is pretty quiet and very comfortable, the hotel has outdoor pool (with raised spa), game room, sauna... Really amazing! WIFI works perfect, high speed. The buffet breakfast was awesome includes typical brazilian foods and fruits, also international and very good quality. The location is perfect, very very close to the beach. Hotel has secured parking. Looking for the next time to visit it! Thanks for all!! 😉

Lovely hotel but very disappointed in our room. The water pressure was non existent and on the first day the water was cold. We told reception only to be told it should be fine. Next morning the water was too hot to get into the shower again regardless of what way you turned the knob. Reception didn’t even ask us how our stay was when checking out. Two days without a decent shower is not what you want from a four star hotel. Other than that the bar is great. Overlooking the river and great service. The young waiter Liam deserves a shout out as he was excellent, very attentive and friendly. The pool facilities are also excellent with a hot tub outside overlooking the woods. Could have easily been an excellent review but the reception let the hotel down.

New, modern, clean hotel, small but OK room, comfortable bed, full breakfast with quality products. Perfect location, is 150m from the beach , delicious beach, with a large sandy range, with kiosks served until lunch ( highlighting the kiosk 08 - name Good luck, with excellent service , Quality and a little salty products but I think everyone is expensive, even because they are mounting a whole structure for vc and in exchange for vc consume ).Paid parking ( R$ 20,00 per day ) , but the street is quiet tb. Perfect to spend the weekend . I recommend and I will return !!!

The most differentiating feature , never experienced anywhere, was the staff was constantly laughing and smiling.. it was genuine.. I asked some of them.. it's not only HR training, but they said they loved working there and been in the same hotel and grown in responsibility over 10-12 years.. Sheer joy for us.. our joy is their happiness, and our problems, their concern.. Of course the property is huge and awesome.. very good spa facilities and located on a beautiful beach A perfect holiday..
