This hotel is simply MUST STAY in Guiyang. Staff over there are all super friendly and helpful. Especially duty manager Luke Lu welcomed us with fruits, cake and lovely hand written card. Thank you so much. Room has spectacular view and you can look over all Guiyang from bird eye view. I stayed on 51st floor suite room which allows full access to executive lounge on 53rd floor from 2 to 10pm. Its location is in the heart of city, so Jiaxiulu甲秀楼，shoppings and restaurants ste in walking distance. Even airport is just 15 minutes drive. My wife and I really loved to stay here in Kempinski Guiyang and its name is now reliable one to make booking next times of trouble without any hesitation. 한국어가 능숙한 매니져 Jeff Wang도 있습니다. 가급적이면 스위트룸에서 최고의 뷰와 라운지와 서비스를 느껴보시길 추천드립니다.

Not the latest, not the most expensive, but my favorite. The service is good, from the housekeeping staff, the doorman, to the lobby manager, the attitude and service really make people feel ”at home”. The location is also good, in the center of the old city, convenient to go everywhere. It feels like it has been renovated in the past year? Or maybe it's because it's well maintained and the lobby is bright.

First the part that I like - 1. Location is convenient: Subway station is right at the door, where you can arrive at major points of the city without many connections on the ground. 2. Food: One breakfast is included in my rate. Adding one costs only US$4. The variety of food is blowing me away. Without exaggeration you won’t repeat what you eat in a week if you pick only five items each day. Think about what’s provided in US hotel for $15. Only $4 here - unbelievable! 3. Staff are very courteous and helpful, from front desk to cleaning personnel, and room services. You’ll receive instant response to address your need whenever you raise it. 4. Facility: It was put in operation in 2022 so everything is new and maintained well. It had indoor swimming pool, gym, billiard room (even one for snook), and ping pong room. It is purposed to host large conferences/events. Now the part that I think they can do better - 1. Smoking: It’s not smoking prohibited hotel, which is pretty common in China, especially not the first tier cities. But they don’t assign some rooms to be non-smoking. Instead, all rooms are smoking permitted and it is allowed in most public areas too. Though this might be OK for domestic visitors, it can be an unflavored factor to people from abroad. 2. Laundry: It doesn’t provide self-served laundry. There is laundry service but it costs dearly going by items.

Overall, the hotel offers good value for the money. The lighting is very confusing and too dim. Takes quite some time to turn on or off a certain lamp. The location is near He Bin Park subway station. Can't say the location is best. Yet not that far away from important places like the Indian restaurant Namo or the Japanese buffet restaurant Shan Xun. The staff, especially the housekeeping staff, were courteous and friendly. The room was warm. It quite suited my needs.

This hotel is exactly as you see on pictures. Very modern with traditional design. Reception is very welcoming, they upgraded our room. The hotel has a laundry room and a small gym. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Also, the location is perfect if you want to see pagodas and the bridge. We have extended our stay in the hotel because we really liked it. Thank you.

The experience was great. I just crossed the street and arrived at Jiaxiu Tower. When I saw me taking my children, they thoughtfully sent me children's supplies.
