Guiyang Nanming District 5-star Hotels

My friend and I stayed here for one night. Whilst there was nothing wrong with the hotel and we enjoyed our stay, I did feel the place is a little dated. The room was clean and comfortable, it had floor to ceiling windows that made the room very light and offered a nice view over Guiyang. The bathroom was really large and the TV in the bath was a nice touch. It was just small things that ‘missed the mark’ like mouldy sealant and tarnished chrome around the basin, they’re not a big deal, just not something I expect in a five star hotel. Overall our stay was good though and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had one night stay in Kempinski. The hotel lobby was stunning with very nice designs. Our room was spacious and clean, the city views at night from the windows were just magnificent. The business lounge was on level 53 (top floor), which offered guests free afternoon tea, light dinner, and night drinks. Every staff member we met was very polite and friendly. Finally, I wish to say special thanks to the reception staff Kevin, who serviced us very patiently and professionally. We will be back surely and see you again!

Aircondition not working.. woke up both nights and mornings as Air conditioning suddenly stopped working. unable able to sleep well for the 2 nights. Technician came and checked on the first night and find room temperature about 25-26degC and fixed the AC. next morning A/C failed again. 2nd night woke up at 1 am from heat of the room. and AC again stopped working again…. so i called the Conciergr again. Unacceptable for a Sheraton badgel!

Excellent hotel, highly recommended! I booked four hotels during this trip to Guiyang, and this is the best one. The handsome guy and beautiful woman Xiaoxue at the front desk were very polite and the check-in was very efficient. It only took two or three minutes to complete! The room was amazingly large, and the L-shaped window was very open, with plenty of light. You can watch the sunrise! The room was very tidy and clean. It is automated, has a microwave, refrigerator, kitchenware, coffee machine, a large desk and wardrobe, a corner of the sofa, and a very comfortable bed. It is really suitable for a long-term stay! The breakfast is especially rich, delicious and attentive. It is the first time I have seen fried cowboy for breakfast. Bones, fish fillets and pickled pork with pickles are all very delicious! A variety of noodles, porridge, pastries and snacks are also of a very high standard! In addition, there are plenty of parking spaces, making it very suitable for drivers. We also gave you a beautiful gift as a souvenir after check-out. Thank you very much! If you come to Guiyang again, you will definitely come back!

Overall, the hotel offers good value for the money. The lighting is very confusing and too dim. Takes quite some time to turn on or off a certain lamp. The location is near He Bin Park subway station. Can't say the location is best. Yet not that far away from important places like the Indian restaurant Namo or the Japanese buffet restaurant Shan Xun. The staff, especially the housekeeping staff, were courteous and friendly. The room was warm. It quite suited my needs.

Good location, friendly and professional staff, good breakfast. The only problem is that windows didn't close well so it can be noisy in the street. But I would definitely go back.

Front counter staffs very helpful. Breakfast was simple but good mix with local dishes with few pastry , of course coffees are available. Location is reasonably good can access with taxi n Didi. The old is no dressing table n luggage stand.

The hotel is located in the center of Guiyang City, with convenient transportation and complete surrounding facilities. It is very convenient for travel and dining. Especially for driving tourists to provide a dedicated parking space, parking space is next to the dedicated elevator, park the car, take the elevator directly to the hall, or take the elevator directly from the room to the parking lot, especially convenient. Here, I especially praise the Jiuyan classmates at the front desk for their warm and thoughtful service, ability to solve problems in a timely and effective manner, and provide customers with a good experience. I believe that other customer service staff also have the same service attitude and level as her. This is a very successful travel experience. A small suggestion here: compared with the efficient service of the service staff, the decoration of the hotel is not very matching in details. As shown in the picture below, the door handle of the bathroom is obviously biased. This situation is also seen in the bathroom glass door, and also lack the necessary damping feeling, resulting in the door originally opened inward, when the door is closed, the door gap position, the installation of the partition bar is easy to be broken, resulting in the door become open outward. The rusting degree of lotus leaves is different. The degree of loosening of the fixed screws is inconsistent in the installation, and there are gaps in some. The rust degree of the screws is also significantly different. I personally feel that the decoration is not very strict in quality control. If it can be improved, it is the best.

Nice hotel in a good location. It was a little tricky to find but once there, we enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and spacious. The washing facilities were also useful during our travels.
