As a recent guest at The Vintage, I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warm welcome set the tone for a comfortable stay. The room was spacious, with tasteful modern decor and all the amenities one could ask for, including a plush bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and a stunning view of the grassland. One of my favorite aspects was the breakfast. The variety and quality of the buffet were exceptional, with options ranging from fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes prepared to perfection. The dining staff were attentive, and everything was replenished promptly, ensuring a satisfying start to each day. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore the city’s main attractions, and I appreciated how accessible public transport was from the property. Though I did experience some minor noise from the street at night, it didn’t detract much from my overall enjoyment. For anyone considering a stay at The Vintage, I would highly recommend it. The combination of excellent service, comfort, and convenience made my stay memorable, and I would definitely choose this hotel again for future visits.

We stayed there for one night , the hotel was booked by our travel agent. When we reached the hotel, the reception said that they have upgraded us to deluxe room. Infact the rooms are very small and the view from the balcony is not great. The cleanliness of the room is not good. Dinner and breakfast was included in the package, but the quality and number of items were not satisfactory. In the breakfast, they just had watermelon in fruits, when asked to bring some more fruits , they declined. The service is very bad, despite asking several times at the reception, they will not listen. Only one towel was kept in the room, I asked them to send another, but they never sent. They did not even serve water bottles in the room and asked us to pay extra, we agreed, but still they do not send water bottles to the room. The wall paper in the room were torn and badly taped, showing that the hotel management does not care about the room facilities. The heater in the room was so noisy that you cannot sleep, keeping it on. So we had to shut it down. Overall they charge like a 5 star hotel, but their service standards are not even 2 star. Not a good hotel to stay in such a lovely place, even the location is a bit far, so you have to pay extra money to local taxi / scooter (which is very expensive). The hotel reception is not willing to help you for local assistance, and asked us to arrange a guide on our own. We were delayed for checkout by 30 minutes, so the hotel reception called me and told me that I had to pay extra money for delayed checkout. Although I did not pay, but the behaviour of the reception staff was not at all cordial and humble. The hotel staff specially the reception staff has to be very humble to the guests. At the dinner time, some of the staff people were shouting very loudly with each other. Overall, not a good hotel to stay

This is our first time to Kashmir. We chose this hotel especially for our family. The location is very good, very close to all the Destinations Especially the famous tourist destination Gulmarg. They are exceptional with service and the rooms are so comfortable. Great location, really clean hotel, comfy beds, attentive staff, would definitely stay here again.Thank you

This hotel is not situated on the main road or at important place. Ho-weer it is quite a qiet place and centrally located for you to be in the city and near all places of tourist attractions. We did not try house boat because of the smell and cleanliness. My children have enjoyed the stay most of all the places we have stayed. The staff is nice and the food is good. My wife was specially impressed by the freshness of the fruits offered in the breakfast.

The hospitality and the courtesy defined the finest tradition of Kashmir and it's people. ***zoor, the caretaker made sure that we were comfortable and served a very tasty and sumptuous dinner. As we had to leave early, the following morning, he woke up early so that we could have breakfast. The houseboat was comfortable but it does need renovation and a fresh coat of paint. These material aspects aside, it was a memorable stay at Nigeen Lake with clean waters and quiet environment to appreciate the majestic beauty of nature.
