Gwangju Madrid Hotel Reviews

This is the best hotel during my 2 week stay in South Korea. The location was great as it is 5 mins' walk to Gwangjusongjeong station and near the street where there are grilled short rib patties. The room was super spacious and came with a massage chair and a jacuzzi bathtub. They even have branded shampoo and conditioner in the room and also provided toner and essence for face. This is so amazing. There is free self service washing machine and dryer on level 10 too. Service was also great. Check in (2pm) was earlier than other hotels (3pm). It was really great value for money as the room cost ＜SGD105 a night. It was just wow.

They are thieves!

Great hotel. Great service. Actually clean and without that much wear and tear. Wi-Fi worked great. It’s super close to the subway station and high speed rail. Convenience store is outside the hotel around the corner. View wasn’t that great but it wasn’t a priority for me. The jacuzzi shower head is like a jet engine. Very satisfied.

Room was very clean and modern. Hotel is located near a lot of shops and places to eat. Loved that it was in walking distance from the train station. Morning buffet was delicious.

The overall experience of staying at this hotel is excellent so it must be my first choice of hotel booking when visiting gwangju next time.

We had comfortable stay. Should have hooks in the shower room to hang our clothes.

Service is not Good for Foreigners

The staff was very helpful whenever I had any small requests.

I've been using it well. I liked the facilities and accommodations because they were clean, and the location was perfect for a business trip, so there was no inconvenience in moving around!!

I was traveling with two small children. I was a little disappointed that a lot of dust came out when I moved the bed, but other than that, I'm satisfied with the location. There was a convenience store right below, a market just a short walk away, and the station was within walking distance. There was a large bath with a jacuzzi in the room, so it was nice to be able to play with my small child even when the weather was bad.

The bath was big and all the necessary amenities were provided, which was very helpful. The breakfast was also delicious. I would like to use it again when I go to Gwangju!

It was a hotel I didn't expect much from, but it was much better than I expected. Room size, bathroom size, bathtub and everything were satisfactory

The location of the accommodation was convenient because it was near Gwangju KTX Station, and the cleanliness of the accommodation was also satisfactory. The facilities were disappointing, but the room condition was good.
