Beach Hotels in Haikou

Great experience with a kind and helpful staff. Room was good quality buy unfortunate the room sound system was a little faulty. Besides that, great place and great location. Looking forward to future visits.

Nicely located on the beach trail, the city sites are easily accessible by rental bikes, which can be found nearby. The bay view was splendid, worth the visit itself. Although somewhat isolated from restaurants, good dining is minutes away by taxi or bike. An on-site convenience store and local market provide basic needs, such as food and beverages. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, with abundant choices of Chinese items, eggs and breakfast meats, and cold cerel. Pastry selection was minimal. The only coffee available is the espresso machine, which was broken one morning, leaving me in a semi-conscious stupor for most of the day. The coffee shop nearby opens at 10:30, which seems to defeat the purpose of coffee. The gym was well equipped but not air conditioned. The pool was nice, but as is common in China, had insufficient chlorine to prevent the growth of green and slippery stuff in places; don't swallow this water. The 15 CNY pool fee was fair. Overall, an outstanding stay for the price.

Came here with friends for CNY. The hotel itself was nice and clean and the room was really spacious. The bathtub really sold this room for me. Simply amazing. The beach is right across the street which can be a big plus but unfortunately, the weather was not the best so I didn't visit at all. The downside of this location is its a bit away from bars and restaurants nothing is walking distance. The staff was really nice and two people were able to assist in English. I forgot the names but they were super helpful.

The hotel in general is fantastic but my bedroom had little insects and I got bitten or stung by something at midnight. The food was amazing specially the breakfast, quite international and tasty. The hotel had a variety of amenities but many of them are extra paid which is something you're not expecting when you book a 5 start hotel. In any case great for a weekend getaway.

This hotel was a good find. The rooms are great, clean and spacious. The beach is the best thing it has, clean, wild, empty. Bring your own chairs because it is as empty as we show on the pics. The pools are clean and huge, lot’s of space for all guests. Beautiful gardens to walk around. The only issue was food: breakfast was really good with a ton of options for Chinese and western. However, after breakfast you will fin a Chinese restaurant call China Spice with only Chinese food and a bit pricey, the room service menu which was ridiculously overpriced or the food at the bar, which was not great. We ordered Quesadillas that had no cheese, and who knows what was inside, look at the pic of the guacamole. The pizza margarita is your best option there. The piña coladas were a good option. We gave it 4 diamonds because of the food options, you can order delivery through the Apps though, there is nothing around walking distance.

Love our stay here .. everything is perfect.. staff are welcoming around all the hotel. Room very clean and comfortable.. the location near cdf mall .. 10 mints drive. The resort is big and perfect for holidays .. just we stay during a rainy and little bit cold weather. Breakfast having a lot of variety.. we enjoy also the dinner at the hotel.

I came to this hotel during the summer of 2022, and they were working on the beach, but we still had access to it. I wanted to return because it was a very relaxing experience. I returned for the 2023 Spring Festival, and it was even better because the beach had been renovated. This trip was very relaxing and enjoyable. I would return to Haikou Shangri-La because the staff and other guests were friendly and helpful.

Service: The girl at the front desk was very polite. She introduced the hotel's facilities, breakfast location and time when checking in, etc. I must give it a thumbs up. Environment: The environment is very good, very quiet at night, the surrounding shopping malls are very suitable for taking children to play, and there is a lot to eat Hygiene: Clean and tidy, the cleaning aunties are very polite when I meet them Overall, the price/performance ratio is very high. It’s great. I’ll come back and stay another night if I have the opportunity. Thank you again for the hotel staff’s warm service.

I was unlucky this time. It was rainy and cloudy for the past few days. I didn't expect it to be so cold in Haikou. After checking into the hotel room, I found that my room did not have air conditioning, so I discussed with the hotel whether I could change it to a room with air conditioning. Later, the hotel staff arranged a room with a kitchenette for me. Although the area was smaller than the previous one, it was warmer. The hotel also presented welcome fruits and two drinks. Although it was a bit regretful that we didn’t see the sunset due to bad weather this time, seeing the beautiful night view of the hotel was also a kind of compensation!

It feels very good, and the breakfast is also very rich. The hotel environment is very suitable for check-in. We live on the eighth floor and can see the river when we open the balcony door. The night view is beautiful especially. There are Sichuan cuisine, Yunnan cuisine, barbecue, and Beijing copper pot nearby. Shabu-shabu. It’s very pleasant to walk downstairs to eat and drink some wine in the evening. After eating and drinking, walk back to the hotel to wash up and go to bed/::Z Don’t be too comfortable😌
