Great location to easily reach the airport, nice and clean room with friendly and helpful service. Highly recommended for a quick stop in Hakodate.

It was a traditional Japanese ryokan that was satisfactory in everything from the kaiseki to the room condition and large bath.

Ah, I really liked the English language, but it will be difficult because not many people speak English. The kaiseki was very fresh and the portion size was small, but I was full! There is also a small, open-air bath. Oh, and there is a hot spring fee when you check out! 150 yen This applies to all regions. I was confused because I didn't know! I took this picture from the room, and it was much colder than Sapporo. It’s snowing a lot!

The service is good and it takes about 10 minutes to get to Goryokaku Park by tram.

The service is very good. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and late night snacks are all included in the room rate, and there are surprises.

Marvellous ryokan in beautiful Hakodate. The rooms are spacious (futon beds are rolled out by staff in the evening a d disappear after breakfast). The kaiseki-ryōri dinner was excellent and served, as is the tradition, in the room. Breakfast (as good as the dinner) was similarly served in the room. The onsen baths are traditional (one pool indoors and one outside, nicely sheltered). Beautifully mineral water. The staff are so so kind, it was an absolute pleasure staying there.

It was a nostalgic inn full of Showa retro feeling. It's very beautiful, yet unpretentious and relaxing. Both the meal and the bath were very good, but I didn't feel like I was outstanding. Points I was worried about ・It was a room on the 2nd floor, but there was a strange smell. I opened the window and turned on the air purifier, but it bothered me until morning.・Do you not wash your haori every time? Was it worn by someone? I didn't use it because it smelled like I thought it would.・The cloth on the porch chair was torn, and the menu file on the table was torn or quite old. It was disappointing that small places can be maintained each time.・Equipped lotions and milky lotions are so dry that they are completely useless. I think it's better if you bring your own. I chose a pack plan like a ladies' set, so it came with the amenities separately, but since it's a one-time use, I still needed it in the morning.・I didn't notice it at first glance, but it was a pity that cardboard was piled up on the right side of the entrance.・The garden that can be seen from the window of the room is disappointing because the hose is peeling off. The view from the lobby was lovely. What's Good: All the staff are very friendly and helpful.・It is always cleaned so that there is not a single piece of garbage on the floor.・It is within walking distance from the bus stop of the shuttle bus from the airport and the tram station. Since the state of emergency was declared and the patrol bus was suspended, I took a taxi to the Trappistine Monastery for about 1500 yen. It felt a lot closer than around Hakodate station.

Our accommodation in Yunokawa Onsen this time was Ichinomatsu, a purely Japanese-style inn. Park your car in the inn's parking lot and head to the inn's entrance. In front of the entrance were two fine and well-kept pine trees, which matched the Japanese-style building and were very nice. The room at the end of the tatami-floored hallway was our guest room that day. This is a spacious room with two sides facing the village. What is noteworthy is that not only dinner but also breakfast was served in the room. We were able to enjoy a meal centered around Hakodate's typical seafood in the comfort of our room. The squid sashimi for breakfast was also good and typical of Hakodate. I was able to relax in a spacious room with tatami mats until check-out time.

In front of the entrance, there were two beautiful, well-kept pine trees that fit in well with the Japanese-style building. Our room was at the end of the tatami-floored hallway. It was a Japanese-style room with two sides facing outside, overlooking the garden of the inn and Yuhama Park across the small river. Both dinner and breakfast were served in the room. Dinner was a course called ``Kagara no Zen''. I was looking forward to one of the dishes in this course, ``Kinki fried chicken'', and it was delicious with the sweetness of the Kinki oil. Breakfast included squid sashimi. Squid sashimi is an indispensable part of Hakodate's breakfast, but it seems that the catch has been poor in recent years. Once in a while, it's nice to stay at a pure Japanese-style inn.
