Courtyard by Marriott Hakuba Reviews

Conveniently located in the middle of a number of snow resorts. Best to drive there yourself as the shuttle bus may not be the most convenient and reliable. Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you typically need and expect. Each room has a ski storage locker which was useful, and also have a pay per wash and dry machines. The public onsen was great and particularly good if your room does not have a private onsen. Staffs were helpful and overall the hotel condition was good. Will go back again if we visit Hakuba next year!

High End Hotel but limited food and I came at the wrong time when most restaurants and shop are closed. Transportation also only provided after 15 Dec and I went a week beforehand.

The facilities are new and clean. New hotel. The breakfast is very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Will book this hotel again in the next trip.

Great trip to Hakuba

We were travelling to hakuba in the mid summer. Greeted with a very attentive staff helping with the luggages while I waited for my partner to park his car. Yet for another younger checkin staff, he did not explain anything about the facilities and while I was asking for more information, he kind of despised us for booking thru this platform during the conversation… as a Marriott member, this is not the Marriott standard as I would expect. The room was clean and spacious, and there were welcome snacks at the lobby. For the onsen, it smelled like a warmed swimming pool instead of the traditional ones. Saw a few visitors going in without taking a shower … not the hotel’s fault for these wild behaviours but perhaps sticking a more obvious sign with multiple languages explaining that shower is required before onsen may help.

Staffs are friendly and rooms are probably the best in hakuba unless you spend time to search for some really nice decor B&B

Good hotel in Hakuba city

The room facilities are quite satisfactory. The room price in winter is very average. The bathroom is small. There is no humidifier in the room in winter and the air is very dry.

The room is quite clean, with 2 beds and 2 tatami mats. There are separate hot springs for men and women on the second floor. There is a shuttle bus in front of the hotel to 47, Wulong, Bafanggen and other ski resorts. After checking out from the hotel, you will be sent to the bus station. I am not sure whether you will be picked up when you check in. You can call the hotel front desk to ask.

Facilities: Rooms are old Hygiene: It goes without saying that the Japanese are pretty good at hygiene. Environment: The bathroom is small and pitiful, but it would be more comfortable if you take a bath outside the bathhouse 😂 Service: Helped us book the wrong car and let us finish skiing. We waited at the foot of the mountain for almost two hours. I was really speechless. I have to say that the ski resort in Umechi is really suitable for beginners. I miss it even when I went to Hokkaido. Umechi is so wide that you don’t have to worry about being hit by others.

A very good hotel with good facilities, considerate service, good food and beverage ingredients, and good service.

It was five years since I stayed here again for the hot springs. The room was still so clean and tidy and like new. It was so well maintained. We were really surprised. The service at the front desk who spoke Chinese, English and Japanese also made me laugh. I will still do it when I go to Hakuba in the future. Stay here 😀
