The check-in service went without problems and quickly we received our room. The staff is premature and friendly. The room was also clean. And also offers enough room for clothes. The bathroom is small, but it is enough for shower and tooth cleaning. We would have booked breakfast if we didn't have to leave so early. For a weekend trip, this hotel is recommended.

The hotel isn't quite finished yet, but I still felt very comfortable there. The location is great, you can quickly walk to the Alster or take the subway to the city center. There are many practical details in the hotel (kitchen in the room, water dispenser in the breakfast room). The staff is very friendly. Especially for only 3 nights, I thought it was great that no room service was included - you really don't need it in such a short time. The breakfast contained everything you need to start the day. The only thing I missed was a kind of bedside table next to the bed and salt/pepper shakers on the tables at breakfast - there was only one on the buffet, which is a bit impractical. Die Lage des Hotels in Norderstedt ist sowohl was Ruhe wie auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten anbelangt recht gut. Am Rande des kleinen Moorbek-Parkes (mit Wanderwegen) gelegen bietet die Umgebung die nötige Ruhe, nach vorne heraus gibt es nahebei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und auch kostenfreie Parkplätze. Flugzeuglärm vom etwa 5 Kilometer entfernt befindlichen Hamburger Flughafen Fuhlsbüttel hört man so gut wie nicht. Nur bei sehr ungünstiger Windlage ist in weiter weiter ferne ein leichtes Motorensummen zu hören (bei geöffnetem Fenster). Vom Hotel in die Hamburger Innenstadt, z.B. zur Elbphilharmonie sind es immerhin eine Stunde Fahrzeit mit U- und S-Bahn. Wir hatten das Doppelzimmer 124 zugeteilt bekommen, ein recht gut und funktionell ausgestattetes Zimmer mit Blick auf den hinteren Park. Das Zimmer war ausgestattet mit guten Betten, in denen wir erholsam geschlafen haben. Zudem gab es im Raum eine lange Schreibtisch-Kombination, einen guten Flachbild-Fernseher, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank, kostenlosen Safe, Kofferablage und einen Schrank. Recht positiv empfanden wir die Fußbodenbeleuchtung unter dem Nachttisch, die mit einem Bewegungsmelder ausgestattet war und nachts den Weg zur Toilette nicht zur Stolperfalle werden ließ. Das Zimmer nebst zugehörigem Badezimmer (mit begehbarer Dusche und ”Regenwalddusche”) waren sauber und schienen neuwertig ausgestattet. Beim Frühstück herrschte eine zwanglose nette Atmosphäre. Die Auswahl am Frühstücks-Buffett war echt gut. Es gab u.a. Brot, frische Brötchen, Salate, Säfte, Käse, Wurst, Rührei, gekochte Eier, Marmeladen, uam. Kaffee stand in Warmhaltekannen bereit. Soweit ich weiß bietet das Hotel außer einer Hotelbar und kostenfreiem Wlan keine gesonderten Freizeitangebote an. Vom Hotel aus sind aber bequem mit ÖPNV die Hamburger Innenstadt zu erreichen. Die U-Bahnstation ist rund 400 Meter entfernt (durch den Park ist es noch etwas kürzer). Nahebei befinden sich Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Parkplätze. Tipp: Während der Tiefgaragen-Parkplatz beim Hotel pro Tag 9 Euro kostet, parkt man in nahen Seitenstraßen kostenlos, an Sonn- und Feiertagen auch ganz nahebei gegenüber der Edeka. Unter der Woche braucht man dort eine Parkscheibe.

Very clean, friendly and efficient hotel, 10 minutes into town on frequent public transport, and it is on the S-Bahn route direct from the airport. Also shops nearby for anything you might need, and a few local restaurants. The area felt very safe even walking back at night. We stayed on a very hot weekend, and both the efficient aircon and the good shower were very welcome! The rooms are compact, but the beds large and comfortable. Perfect if you're just looking for a comfortable place to sleep while exploring the city.

STAY AWAY. I am a very fair minded traveler. I was making a trip to Hamburg in August, so I knew I should plan for dealing with potential hot weather. I did extensive searching, including on TripAdvisor, specifically filter for the room having air conditioning. Nyce came up in the top of every search and clearing listed ”air conditioning” as one of their amenities. So I made a reservation and prepaid per their policy At the actual hotel [yes, on a hot weather day] when I entered the room there was NO A/C and mor even a fan. Only one window that could be cracked open approximately 6 inches. The room was a suana. When I talked with the reception desk the staff had harsh attitude and demanded to see where air conditioning had been promised. I showed them multiple screens, but their response was ”Google lies all the time”. I even offered to accept a partial refund [one of the two prepaid nights], but that was met with an even worse attitude. I left for another hotel. The Courtyard By Marriott about 5 minutes away was newly constructed, extremely helpful reception staff , and FULLY AIR CONDITIONED. The reception even told me ”Please go check the room, we want you to completely comfortable”. The room was at beautiful and yreat quality...and was almost the exact same price as the single room at Nyce A day later I received an email from Ntce site management. They request screenshots and I supplied, bit had the same dismissive ”blame the customer” and stated they would make no refund at all. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this property, you simply cannot trust them.

I stayed in ”Alte Wache” hotel 2 nights for working reasons, arriving by taxi from the apt. The kindness, courtesy and service efficiency of the gentleman and the lady at the reception deserve a top rate. They both are a great example of care and warm hospitality, making every guest feel really welcomed. The lobby is nice in its old fashion style, the double room is spacious, perfectly clean and silent; breakfast was very good, and much better than some 4stars hotel: the tea blend selections very appreciated and the fresh flower on the tables a lovely, precious gift!! 2 small suggestions: 1) the morning waitress should be a little bit more smilying; 2) do not accomodate a person alone in a dinner table for 6. The hotel is also extremely close to city center (walking distance), so I really reccomend it!!

All in all the hotel is quite good, unfortunately some shortcomings put it to average for us. Upon check in, was asked at the reception whether we were Covid vaccinated 2 or 3 times. The certificate itself was barely looked at and no QR code scan was done. During our 3 nights stay, this was correctly done when entering Restaurant for breakfast, so why not at first contact point Reception? Upon entering our room (336), immediately noticed that it was rather cold inside. Normal if a window is open and aircon set at lowest level… Noticed as well that some empty shopping paper bags and some used brochures had most probably been forgotten during cleaning. In fact the bags were rather big and could not be overseen… Worse however were 2 used plastic cups in the bathroom, once again impossible to oversee them! The room itself was quite ok if you do not consider some stains on carpet and chair, however the very small wardrobe is kind of bad joke. ONE small storage compartment for a double room and no other storage possibilities in the room is far from standard! Breakfast on Sunday morning was rather chaotic with a completely full restaurant. Why not attribute time slots in order to avoid such a situation? This is done in some hotels and is rather helpful. On the day of our departure, somebody knocked at our room door at 08.45 am. Quite astonished that it was the cleaning lady who asked at what time we would leave... Had never experienced such acting in any other hotel also considering the check-out time of 11.00 am

We stayed at the Hyperion Hamburg for one night during our roadtrip through Europe. Arriving by car is very convenient, since the hotel is located close to a major road and offers garage parking with direct access to the hotel. Also, the location is great for sightseeing, as most of the city center is reachable by foot. We got a nice big corner room on one of the upper floors, with great views, comfortable beds, and lots of space for the 3 of us (2 adults and one child). The breakfast was very good, with many different options.

OK - it's still the furniture I knew from the time when it was the Forum Hotel. And that's very long ago. But in autumn the renovation is supposed to go. The reception was very friendly. It's been really fun. I have a beautiful room with beautiful views of the city. Unfortunately, very much is built so that you may not be able to look at the elbe at all next time. Unfortunately. This time there was even a process that was close. Until the water pressure (15th floor) the shower was all right. But this is natural and there was no standard. I was surprised at breakfast. Besides the friendly staff, which quickly cleaned, the offer was very versatile. I asked: the fricadels tasted as they did (burned apple pieces) and not for convenience. But you didn't want to make yourself with foreign pearls and thought it was convenience. But it was all very good. I will put the hotel more in my focus once I'm back in Hamburg.

We found this great small hotel in New Wulmstorf and we were very happy to find a so beautiful and tasty house. The rooms are spacious, very nicely furnished and absolutely clean. Although our room was on the Bundesstraße, we have not got anything from the street, thanks to the multi-glass windows. The room is with a small Nespresso machine so you can make a coffee in the morning and enjoy it relaxedly in bed. The bathroom is also well cut. The shower with glass doors is large and there is no water running out when doing the shower - which is unfortunately often the case in many hotels. The staff are very premature, polite and helpful. As our relatives live nearby, we will certainly visit this pleasant hotel more often.
