Serene Boutique Hotel & Spa Reviews

The hotel is in the old quarter so the frontage is not large however our room was spacious and reasonably maintained. The room was very clean and we had a balcony although we were waving to the builders over the road! They were not noisy or intrusive though so it was not an issue for us. Decor in the room was quite modern and very nice. Shower was a little odd with the shower head not able to be directed so could only really be used as a handheld or the whole bathroom would get very wet. The breakfast was ok, a little bit of continental, noodles, sausage, fruit and an egg bar for omelettes etc. nothing special,but nothing to complain about. Coffee and juice were good and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The front desk helped us with tours and maps of the area and were lovely. I think the location is great and although you are in the middle of everything it is quiet in the rooms. Walking distance to the night markets and coffee shops and eating places. The building is old but clean and tidy. Would stay here again.

Location location location, it's in a fabulous location walking distance to everything.Fantastic staff so helpful and great housekeeping team. Stayed for 5 days and it ticked all the boxes, only had breakfast on our first morning and to be honest that was a bit of a let down,eat out after that for breakfast.So many places to eat and cheap to. I would recommend and definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this centrally located hotel, surrounded by numerous attractions and dining options in the old quarter. The staff, including Alice, My, Hannah and Minh, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. They provided assistance with directions and excellent recommendations for dining and sightseeing. Our room was clean, and the comfortable bed made our stay enjoyable. They were also kind enough to keep our luggage for a night when we went to Lan Ha Bay. We also learned a bit about local life when we had a chat with Alice, overall a great stay!

A great inexpensive hotel. Hannah the receptionist gave some great tips and information. She organised taxi to airport at a great price 300k and made sure it was on time. She was extremely professional and we grade her 10/10. The hotel is in the z old Quarter near an excellent Cocktail bar and local food. Plus beer street and night market. Well done Hannah, she should be a Manager.!

We were lucky to use both the suite and the deluxe room. The suite is large with its own terrace. You can smoke on the terrace. Room and bathroom were clean. The deluxe room was smaller and only had a small window. Location is at the heart of Ha Noi with most tourist attractions within walking distance. Lots of cafes and restaurants around. The staff was excellent and went above and beyond to help us and accommodate our needs. The hotel can arrange day trips. The breakfast buffet is great.

Nice hotel with a fantastic breakfast to start your day. My regards to Mo for the pre visit with plenty of advice and Minh at the front desk for always giving us great advice while at the Serene. I would also like to give credit to the wonderful staff in the restaurant. Sorry for not catching your name. A great little hotel with good service and close by to everything in Hanoi Old Quarter.

I stayed here for two nights and was impressed with pretty much all aspects of the hotel. The location is good, the room well proportioned and the breakfast plentiful. If I had to pick one area where this hotel really stands out though it'd be the staff. In particular Mo/Alice over WhatsApp was very helpful in getting a day trip to Lan Ha Bay booked, whilst the young lady on reception whose name I didn't catch was also very friendly and welcoming. If/when I come back to Hanoi I will certainly stay here again

Good boutique hotel located at a convenient location in old quarter area of Hanoi. Staff is extremely helpful and pleasant especially lady at the reception Ms. My who went out of her way to help us with early check in and also guiding us on local sight seeing, shopping areas and do’s and donts. Property is clean and comfortable to stay. Rooms are decently spacious. Breakfast options are limited especially if you are veg but manageable. Hotel is located close to all main cafés, tourist attractions , Indian and local cuisine restaurants closeby and also walking distance from beer street and night market. Good value for money over all.

We stayed in their family room which comes with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed with a city view (no balcony), the room is big enough to accommodate a family / friends of 3 people. The bathroom is very decent and laced with all the required amenities (with bathtub). Since it's a boutique, don't expect too much of luxury, it's a nice decent hotel in the middle of the street with a great team of staff. Since we reached early in the morning, they were kind enough to provide the room well before check in time.The USP of this hotel is its Terrific Location in the old quarters, all the major tourist attractions are within 1-1.5 kms. Only Con we felt was options in breakfast, it waspretty basic, they should add more to the menu.

The hotel is located in the heart of old quarter. Walking distance to everything. Breakfast was small selection but nonetheless good! What made our experience from ok to Spectacular was Hue!!! She was an absolute gem. Our initial experience In hanoi was rough but she greeted us with warmth and kindness and turned it from negative to positive. She was helped us contact our next destination hotel, organised a trip to ha long bay, and all of our transportation. Hue is a huge asset to this hotel and to our trip. Would stay here again! THANK YOU HUE!!!!

This hotel is located right in the middle of the old quarter, near lots of tourist attractions. The streets are a bit crazy at first but you get used to it. The room was comfortable with very good air con and housekeeping done daily. Breakfast was good, fruit, toast, yoghurt, asian options and omelettes made fresh if you want. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The service was top notch. The place was clean and well air-conditioned. I can’t emphasize how great the service was. They were like travel agents, answering all our questions, and Booking, transportation, and day trips for us! We were treated like royalty!

It’s a very good hotel on a busy street of Old quarters of Hanoi. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and well decorated. We booked a suite on their top floor from where city view of Old Hanoi can be seen over the cup of morning tea & coffee. Staff is very nice, prompt and Co-operative. There are many souvenir shops, convenient stores, spas and other facilities nearby this hotel. We recommend this hotel for a short and budget stay which gives value for money.

Overall the hotel was good and ina great location. It's near to the Old town Hanoi which is why I chose it. The breakfast was good with alot of Variety and options. The hotel could have done a better job at maintaining the hotel, not that it was In a bad shape, just some attention to details. Kudos to the Manager Mr.Quang( If i got it right), he was more than helpful and very accommodating. Not to mention his fluency in English which helps a lot as there can be quite some language barrier problems. Would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.
