Hotels near Lotus Water Puppet Theater in Hanoi

Hôm bữa mấy chị em mình có ghé qua khách sạn nghỉ 3 đêm,nhìn khách sạn tuy hơi nhỏ nhưng được cái nhân viên ở đây rất ngoan. Mình được bạn bell tên Văn Toàn giới thiệu nhà hàng,quán ăn và nhưng địa điểm du lịch xung quanh đấy. Bạn ấy rất nhiệt tình và các bạn khách cũng vậy .Cảm ơn khách sạn Affa đã cho chúng mình một kì nghỉ vui vẻ ! SEE YOU !!

The staff were so friendly and friendly. The breakfast was also very good.

The hotel is really nice. Great staff and the room is fine. Not huge but they provide water and the bathroom is clean. They offered to store bags for us as we were going to stay on a boat for 1 night in between. Breakfast was very average but fine if you are happy to embrace the culture. Optimal location as its right around the corner from the lake and busy parts.

I did a quick research on T.A of the most convenient, high rated and affordable stay in Hanoi, and this place popped up. I trust (for the most part) the reviews on trip advisor before booking a place. This place worked out just fine. They were very responsive via email, sent a welcome message and asked if they can be of any additional service before arrival. Very professional, in my opinion. Upon arrival, the check in was pretty streamlined. They offered a selection of attractions, but were not at all pushy. Everything was explained well. My room was basic, but clean. AC was super cold. No elevator, but this is a hostel. I wasn’t expecting luxury. The bed was much more firmer for my liking, but again, this isn’t the Hilton. Great value for your money, in the heart of Hanoi. Everything seemed in line with the price I paid for the lodging. I decided to take them up on booking a trip to the Ha Giang loop for 3 days. There was some communication breakdown regarding my expectations upon my arrival in Ha Giang, but they took care of the problem without any hassle. Thumbs up. Things always happen, you can’t avoid that, so it’s really how the issue gets resolved that matters. Thank you for that. Also, the entire staff was top notch pleasant to deal with. I don’t remember all the names, but the one that I do ( i apologize for that) is Linh. Thank you again for a memorable stay.

We spent 4 nights at the Zephyr Suites and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there for a number of reasons. We were given a free upgrade to a lovely spacious room on the 7th floor with large windows looking out onto the street and the lake. The bathroom had a wonderful shower stall and excellent facilities. The room was large, beautifully furnished and had an excellent writing desk with adequate outlets for all our devices. The WiFi in the room was excellent- fast and efficient. The beds were super comfortable with wonderful pillows and duvet- they made going to bed a real pleasure. The air-con was super efficient and cooled the room beautifully in a few minutes. My only negative about the room would be the lack of storage space for clothes- virtually no drawers and very limited hanging space and hangers- it made life for two people a bit difficult as it was impossible to unpack and put our clothes anywhere in the storage area. Whoever designed this storage space really needs to travel more and see what travellers need when they unpack. We were very impressed with the buffet breakfast at the Zephyr. There was a very good selection of different sorts of dishes and we particularly enjoyed the egg dishes prepared at the egg station. What impressed me most was the selection of breads available. I had what was possibly the best baguette I have ever eaten in Asia at the Zephyr, and the bread rolls, croissants, pains au chocolat and danish pastries were delicious. So well done Zephyr on your selection of breads and baked goods! The only other thing that would improve the breakfast would be a coffee machine where guests could get their own coffee/lattes/cappuccinos rather than the usual coffee and tea pots that sit out where the drinks are inevitably cold. The staff at the hotel were good on the whole. There were two delightful young ladies at the reception desk who were particularly friendly and helpful but unfortunately I did not get their names as the name badges they wear are so small it's impossible to see what is written on them. The men at the front desk were not nearly as friendly or as helpful as the ladies, and the hotel might consider giving the gentlemen a course in learning how to smile and be pleasant to guests. You would think that people who go into the hospitality industry would have open, friendly personalities and like the interaction with guests, but the men working at Zephyr didn't seem to have these qualities. A smile goes a long way! The transport we arranged from the hotel was excellent. We had two drivers and they were both good, in particular the young man who picked us up and dropped us at the airport during our stay. On our last overnight at the Zephyr Suites, we asked for a wake-up call at 4 a.m. as we needed to leave the hotel by 5 o'clock. Unfortunately the young man who was on duty obviously forgot and we got the call at 4.45 a.m. We had asked the front desk if we could have a packed breakfast to take

Pros: Nice and clean. Cons: No safe or breakfast. Stayed Nov-2022 for 1 night with breakfast. Booked hotel Vertis but a large group were checking out late so Jenny the receptionist took me to this upgrade sister-hotel on the same street. 2-rooms per floor. Lift but no safe. Kettles, cups, tea and coffee. Bathroom separated with glass wall, however was wallpapered over for modesty reasons. Hotel does not do breakfast but I was allowed to go to my original hotel Vertis for breakfast.

We had a very enjoyable stay at La Sinfonia del Rey. The location was superb next to the Hoan Kiem lake right in the middle of the Old Quarter. All of the staff were extremely friendly and special mention to Rose who greeted us and remembered our names throughout our stay, and to give us recommendations on where to eat while we were in Hanoi. We also wanted to thank the manager who checked us in and had more food recommendations and for the lady who checked us out that gave our son a departing gift. Thank you for having us!

All rooms are very large, comfortable and especially have a very large king bed! Staff very friendly and enthusiastic. When you arrive at the hotel, there is a security guard to assist you with parking, bring your luggage to your room while you check in. The room is equipped with air conditioning and fan, when checking in is finished to go to the room, everything is ready for guests. Very satisfied with the attentiveness of the hotel and staff

We made an unplanned 2 week visit to Hanoi to be with a sick friend. We picked HM because of its location and the favorable reviews here and elsewhere. The hotel was perfect: very well-placed near Hoan Kiem Lake, roomy, tidy/spotless, delicious breakfasts, and a friendly and attentive staff. The bed was especially comfortable. The staff handled our laundry professionally. They assisted us very ably with a driver for a day trip. The HM made our stay in Hanoi very easy.
