Solo Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a small hotel and brand new. Good Location. Reception staff is a gem. Kate at front office is one of nicest lady I have ever met, she guided me about Hanoi for my short trip and she is very polite and has a beautiful smile everytime you pass front desk. They have good breakfast in the morning, Fiona in the restaurant provided excellent service and definately an asset to this hotel. They have a rooftop bar to enjoy Beer in the evening. Lot of shopping and good options around the hotel within 10 mins walk. I will definately stay here during my next visit and would like to recommend it to everyone.

Ok, so the room was beautiful and what was expected. Great tv access, Netflix, apple tv etc. great house keeping staff. The rooftop pool and the bar area lovely, but that is where the nice Bits stop. The level of service Besides housekeeping was below par. Many basic mistakes made in both reception, dining room for dinner and also at the rooftop bar. Rooftop bar does NOT have a happy hour, so this is false advertising. They give you a few crisps, and the drinks are nearly double the price of everywhere else. Couldn't make a Singapore sling, as no cherry liquor, and when I ordered a Mai Tai, what was received was not Mai Tai. Also if they didn't understand something they just wouldn't reply, and I would think I had something coming. One bartender and two supervisors, C'mon on. We also had two nights at the restaurant for dinner, where 3 of us had starters, mains, wine, cocktails etc, so spent a lot. First night was great, but second night, 5th of March was horrific. 4 staff on, and by the way we were the only table there. It felt like we were in a local shop, as the staff just watched us, and talk about over servicing.I would hate to see the service, if even 25% of capacity. I would be getting rid of half of the staff, and actually providing some basic training to them, including how to provide good service, without over servicing, including some basic English skills. The hotel we stayed at previously for one third of the price, had much better service. Summary, lovely room, but definitely not the service to match. Very disappointed.

こちらのホテルは4泊5日の日程で利用しましたが、部屋は常に清潔で、クーラーは強力、朝食ビュッフェもとてもおいしかったです。特に牛肉フォーは外の有名レストランのそれよりおいしかったし、毎朝のベトナムアイスコーヒーも外のカフェと変わらないくらい美味しく、大満足です。また旅行最終日、日本へのフライトが深夜だったのですが、チェックアウトした後もシャワーを使わせてくれてとても助かりました。（あのままだと汗をかいたまま飛行機に乗らないといけなかったため）ホテルのスタッフ皆が親切でしたが、JennyとMには特に親切にしてもらいました。素晴らしい体験をありがとう！ I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and 5 days, the room was always clean, the air conditioner was powerful, and the breakfast buffet was very good. In particular, the beef pho was better than that of the famous restaurant outside, and the Vietnamese iced coffee every morning was as delicious as the café outside, and I was very satisfied. Also, on the last day of the trip, my flight to Japan was late at night, but they let me use the shower even after checking out, which was very helpful. All the hotel staff were very nice (because I had to get on the plane sweating as it was), but Jenny and M were especially helpful. Thanks for the great experience!

I really enjoy the stay here. The hotel is very modern, very clean. Plesantly surprjse actually. They dont offer breakfast. They are just opposite cafe giang (the famous egg coffee cafe), few mins to the lake and the temple. Quite near to the post office to send post cards back home, near bahn mi 25, near the night market as well and dong xuan market. What is not near is the train street, which is the other side. Overall super convenient, near the bus stop as well if you are taking public transport from the airport

Nice and new. Clean. Great service from reception and bell boys. Breakfast was good. Used the spa services and it was fine but the massueses were quite rude with their comments and said inappropriate things to my partner in front of me, quite unprofessional. It's their job to provide a service and nothing more. The wait staff in the restaurant serving breakfast were efficient but a little unprofessional as when it hit 10am (when breakfast stopped) they were celebrating amongst themselves. I can understand Vietnamese and perhaps they thought I couldn't understand. I found this to be quite unprofessional, maybe my expectation that they should do their job quietly and efficiently was too much. They also moved me to another table for their convenience as the table I chose to sit at would have been more work for them to clean. I asked why they moved me, when I came back from getting my food, and the reply was that they wanted me to enjoy the view out of the window. This was a blatant lie as my original seat had a better view and was already by the window, I could only conclude that me sitting at a four person table instead of a two person table was inconvenient for them, even though breakfast was about to end and that there was only a few people there finishing their breakfast. I also found that the cleaning staff were just chatting about their daily lives in the elevator in front of me and on corridors. Is it me or should the staff be quiet, intrusive and wait for no guests to be around to gossip and talk? Aside from these aspects of the staff, everything else was good, the food, friendliness, location and cleanliness was on point. Lastly, as the hotel is new, there's still some renovation work going on but it doesn't disturb you from a good night's sleep.

Ok this will be an odd review. We didn’t stay in this hotel, but walked into their lobby one night to ask if they could call us a good taxi to get out of the busy Old Quarter to get to our hotel. They were super accommodating, even offering us to sit and wait in their lobby, and then even walking us out to the taxi when it came. This type of service and helpfulness just doesn’t happen everywhere in the world. If I could rank a hotel in the old quarter on lobby customer service alone, I’d recommend this hotel, and if I ever need a hotel in the old quarter I’ll look to this hotel as a definite option in the future. On first impressions alone, extremely friendly, very memorable, thanks to the hotel front desk gentleman for the help.

I was satisfied with the reception, cleanliness, and all the services. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, and even though I couldn't speak English well, they spoke to me in a way that I could understand. The room amenities, the number of towels, and other services were beyond my expectations. I would like to use this hotel again when I come to Hanoi.

We moved to this hotel after a less than great night at a nearby hotel. The location is ideal if you want to be near the lake or have business with an embassy. The lake is a 30 second walk, the embassies 10 minutes or so. There is a large grocery story (VinMart) a short walk away. The room has a large sitting area, work desk, full kitchen with a household-size refrigerator/freezer, and the bed is very comfortable as are the pillows. The bed area can be sectioned off by closing a floor-to-ceiling curtain between it and the lounge area -- convenient when your travel companion wants to get up early to work (and turn on all the lights). The bathroom includes a full-size tub and a Japanese toilet (i.e., heated seat and built in bidet with multiple options). We were there in the midst of the pandemic so occupancy was low. Rather than a breakfast buffet they provided us with a menu that included a very large selection of items ranging from Western standards to Vietnamese standards. You won't go hungry from lack of options. Evenings in the rooftop restaurant includes groups of local youth taking selfies of themselves in the 'fancy' surroundings. Worth an evening drink for the beautiful lake view as well as the people watching. Staff were great, food was very good and prices in the mini bar were entirely reasonable. Coffee, tea, drinking water and a FULL breakfast are included. If this location fits your needs when visiting Hanoi, I cannot recommend it more highly.

It is probably one of the best Novotel I have stayed over the past years. Most notable are the people-- from the reception to restaurant , everyone are courteous and willing to help and sincere, and English are generally sufficient which is a great help. The TV channels are very complete from CNN, HBO, BBC, CNBC, BOX which are even better than some 5 star hotels. The breakfast collection are very wide, and fruits are yummy , which is a great way to start the day. During my visit , the restaurants in the hotel are not crowded at all, and so dining is very comfortable and allow ample distancing between tables. The dinner on roof top restaurant is great value for money --- VND 499 K for a quality BBQ buffet with proper beef and seafood. Rooms and bedding are very clean. Location is on busy street but quite a number of small restaurants and coffee shops within a few minutes walk. The only aspects for improvement-- due to language , it would be great to have a doorman at the main entrance to help with giving directions to taxi drivers to ensure no miscommunication; and the room lighting can be enhanced by placing a floor lamp next to the study table to facilitate reading ; and finally the hotel name sign on the street front is too small for drivers to spot the name .

Absolutely amazing experience! The hotel is in a sky scraper from where you can see all of Hanoi. I was there during the ***** new year celebrations and one of the best locations to view the firworks was the hotel's lobby and restraunt. The hotel also organized lion dance for ***** new year. The breakfast is also really good with loads and loads of cuisine options. Also try the pecan pie at the cafe, it is absolutely delicious. The best part however is the hospitality team. Kudos to them for making me and my girlfriend feel fully taken care of. Their attention to detail to each guest's plans is immaculate. It was ***** new year night and we could not find a grab as there were none available and we had a train to catch. The staff knew where we were headed as they also helped us book. They had already ordered a cab for us as we were getting late. The team made our stay delightful and I will definitely be back.
