Popular Harbin 4-star Hotels

This hotel is ideally located in the centre of the city, near to all the main shops and restaurants. You can also walk to St Sophia's cathedral. This place has a lot of charm and character! TV didn't seem to have any movies or anything beyond the regular channels but it was nice and comfortable. The set breakfast was ample and tasted good - it looks as if they have abandoned the buffet style. Staff cannot speak much if any English but I can speak enough Chinese and they were friendly. Overall it is clean and worth it for the price.

The hotel was sufficient, nothing fancy. The room was well-appointed with the necessary amenities and the bed was comfortable. Complaints: the floor was extremely cold and the central heat didn’t work. They do provide a space heater, which worked fine. We found hairs on the bathroom sink and shower floor when we arrived. There is no soundproofing - we could hear kids yelling down the hall and adults too. There was also a man smoking in the hallway excessively. The location is good for visiting the cathedral and taking the metro. Overall, it’s a good value for the money but next time, I would pay more for a luxury hotel.

The hotel was good. It was even better than expected. The price was amazing. There were great restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again. 5 ~10 minutes walking distance to everything downtown.

I was staying in Harbin as part of a wandering holiday, I chose this hotel due to its proximity to St Sophia. I came to Harbin in search of good Russian food and we not disappointed, although the Russian BBQ proved to be the best of our selection. Access to cars via the Didi app was fairly easy, but the oneway system meant that we sometimes had a ten minute wait. The staff were kind and helpful and we had plenty of instant coffee provided to keep us going. Our only critism was the limited size of the breakfast room and the limited nature of quality offerings.

The staff were very friendly and courteous. The facilities were adequate, though an earlier breakfast would have been nice for ease of getting to other areas of the city early. We did not have the breakfast each day because of this, but when we did the selection was decent. The gym was delightful as the weather was cold for outside exercise. It's hours were suitable for early and later workouts (6:30am - 9:30pm). The room was a highlight as it was spacious, clean, quiet, and well maintained. It was warm enough for cold winter nights, and comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Harbin. It is about 13 km from many of the main sights of Harbin, but that allows for some distance from the busyness in the festival times.

The hotel is just a five minute walk from the nearest metro station. The street the hotel is on is a little dilapidated (at least in late April) but has its own charm. My room was comfortable and a good size for a solo traveler. The buffet breakfast was big and the selections changed a but every day. I was there during the Labour holiday do there were many guests, and the staff replenished the different dishes often. I didn't use the laundry room but I took a look... Currently only one washing machine is in service. The finally, all the staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is very very good as it is in the Central street of Harbin. But, there is only meeting rooom there, with no other facilities. The service is good, and the hygiene is ok. It is just because the carpet is a bit dirty and this hotel is very very old. Also, it is not 4 stars level hotel, it is more like 2.5 stars. Not only the location is good, but also there is a Russian cuisine restaurant that is delicious nearby, I recommend everyone to try that restaurant. But, there is a lot of people there, so you need to go there early otherwise the seats will be full and need to wait for a really long time. This hotel is ok if you live there for a night or two, but if you stay in this hotel for 3 nights or more, then I dont really recommend you to live in this hotel.

Had to wait for the second room to be ready but we came before 3pm. Room had two skylight windows. Wanted to upgrade rooms but hotel was full. Stayed 2 nights, 2 bedrooms. Location was fantastic. Kevin, the duty manager, was particularity very accommodating and helpful. He helped us with our luggage during the busy period. The breakfast spread was good. Gym was small with two treadmill machines and one all-in-one fitness equipment. But no one was there so you got the whole gym to yourself. TV channels were limited. Bathroom amenities were adequate. Overall it's a good stay.

Huge room. Wonderful. The location is perfect, its off the Main Street so you don't get the noise but its a 5 min walk to the main shopping / tourist street. A 10 min walk to the park where you can access the cable car. Really the location is great. 24hour store opposite also, so really useful if you want to keep warm in the room and eat snacks. Speaking of warmth, the room we had was a little cold, but we didn't notice the heater in the room, but once we did, everything is fine. The place is clean and the service staff are friendly - although we didn't need to use them a lot, they always seemed keen. The reason facilities is not 5/5 is just due to the fact there was no breakfast, but as there are stores always nearby and the Main Street is super close, it really doesn't matter. It's a really nice place and especially for the money, its superb value. Would stay again - very easy decision.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Harbin! (Foreigners accepted.) The location is truly the perfect starting point for trips to all the main attractions of the city - a block or two blocks away from Central Street, Stalin Park, the Songhu River Cable Car, and Zhaolin Park. It's close enough to all the action, but the small distance from the walking street means you won't get all of the noise. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, and convenient stores just steps away. I was given a free upgrade to a larger queen bedroom and I couldn't be more appreciative. The bathroom was HUGE, with a bathtub, separated toilet and shower areas, and very spacious counter and mirror. Toiletries were provided and replenished throughout my stay. The room was made up daily as well. The heat could also be controlled, and I was never cold from the moment I entered the hotel each time. Staff were friendly and responsive, and while no one spoke English, they were patient with translating and quick to help me when I needed something. Even without my upgrade I feel what I paid for three nights was well worth it. The only suggestion I have would be the decor - if the tacky large images of Harbin were replaced with something more tasteful, the room I stayed it would be unbeatable haha.
