Amrit Bhawan truly offers a magical experience that lives up to its name, "House of Nectar." From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality made us feel embraced, as if by Ma Ganga herself. The property is meticulously designed, with every corner reflecting the immense effort and dedication that has gone into it. The food was divine, seemingly blessed by the goddess, and the staff ensured every meal felt like a celebration. The local dishes we tried, especially the dinner thalis, were memorable and the perfect way to immerse ourselves in the local culture. Breakfast options like red rice dosas, porridge, and pancakes were absolute standouts, and the evening tea time was a charming highlight. The atmosphere of the hotel left us feeling rejuvenated, with the sound of the Ganga and access to the ghats enhancing the entire experience. Their curated sound therapies and live evening music only added to the tranquil ambiance. The rooms were a work of art—beautifully finished with thoughtful touches, lighting, and color schemes that felt perfect in every way. One of the most memorable experiences was the private aarti arranged for us at Har Ki Pauri, a gesture we are immensely grateful for. A huge thank you to the wonderful staff—Sagar ji, Abhishek ji, Sunil ji, and Mohit ji—who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We can't wait to return to Amrit Bhawan. Truly, a stay here is nothing short of divine.

Our experience at Amrit Bhawan was truly exceptional. The name, which literally translates to "House of Nectar," perfectly encapsulates the heavenly treatment we received during our stay. The food was a highlight, served with such love and care that it felt blessed by Goddess Ma Ganga herself. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and the location provided a serene escape from the city's noise. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with warm smiles, making us feel embraced by the spirit of the Ganga. The property itself is a work of art, with meticulous attention to detail in every corner—from the decor to the lighting and sounds, everything is uplifting. The food deserves special mention; the breakfast spread was a 10/10, with red rice dosa, millet porridge, and banana pancakes topping our list. Each meal, including the thali dinners, was a delightful representation of local cuisine. We also appreciated the community representation throughout the property and the daily evening aartis, which were beautifully maintained. The evening music and sound therapy added to the serene atmosphere. We had the chance to partake in a cooking class by Chef himself and took back home some techniques to try make our own “Pahadi” delights! A highlight of our stay was participating in a graceful aarti at Har Ki Pauli, expertly arranged by the team. We are incredibly grateful to Mohit Ji, Sunil Ji, Sagar Ji, Abhishek Ji, the entire kitchen crew and housekeeping team their exceptional service. We can't wait to return!

The highlight is undoubtedly the private access to the Ganga. I did yoga early in the morning on the deck by the ghat —you can even ask for a personalised session with a yoga teacher. Evening aarti (prayers) by the river created a deeply personal spiritual experience for us, far removed from the crowded public ghats. The space is so thoughtfully designed with perfect details and maintains the charm of a vintage Indian house. Our room had such soft hues, making for a cosy, relaxing ambience. The property itself is lush and green, with multiple nooks to just be and unwind. Sometimes, just one visit is enough, but the exceptional service at Amrit Bhawan will always draw me back. The staff is warm and attentive and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and memorable. I want to thank everyone who made our stay one of our sweetest memories.

The atmosphere at Amrit Bhawan gently hugs you as you enter. It is right by a quieter bank of the Ganges which allows a moment to oneself. Their hospitality, food, squeaky clean rooms constitute for an overall authentic Indian experience!!

This place is the best place to stay in haridwar. If you love the magical combination of the best ghadwali food that feels like from someone's home, the most clean well kept surroundings, warm service and tranquility by the Ganga look no further. Having lived at most properties in Haridwar this one definitely tops all lists. Chef Neeraj's food will make you want to visit again and again. And so was the exceptional service of the entire team of Pranav Sagar, Sunil Bhandari and all restaurant and housekeeping staff Their sound proof windows ensures silence inside the property despite being in the ashram lanes. I rarely compare properties directly but having lived in Ekaanta last year this one beats it hollow. Much more lively, airy, open spaces and food quality and room sizes all top it. Wishing team Amrit bhawan the best Opt for first floor river facing rooms if they are available, extremely airy and with a large common varandha that transports you to feeling you are living in a private bunglow

What an amazing stay at a wonderful boutique hotel in Haridwar with Ganga at our Doorstep. 5 Stars for the accomodation, interior and food . Mohitji and Team were very accomodating and made my Mother's and my stay very enjoyable. We look forward to returning for another stay to rewind from our busy city lives. great boutique hotel, Excellent Food, private ghat at the Ganges, private arti at the ghat, all modern amenities are there in the hotel, massages available for women & men, its expensive place though, small no. of rooms and bookings should be done in advance, and some teeny tweaks will make it really perfect.

From the look & feel to the service and food - everything exuded warmth and was exemplary. The food is so healthy, fresh and absolutely delicious. Right by the ghat, you can enjoy yoga and sound healing and relax with a massage. Soak your feet in the Ganga and find your being. Must visit.

I felt I am arriving at someone’s home. And it was indeed the family’s vacation home that they converted in to a lovely and simple boutique hotel. The highlight is the art deco feel and using terrazzo interior and simplicity of the staff. The breakfast was delicious. And lots of healthy options too. Like Himalyan red rice. Flavoured honey home Made cookies that were delicious. Nice amenities and big rooms and a comfortable bed. And nothing could be better than the view of GAnga ji right from your room. At this place you could spend 5 nights by just gazing at Ganga ji, take a dip, do yoga and meditate or do nothing. However, 2 nights is a must.
