We just stayed only 1 night, unfortunately. We got a very friendly and warm welcome. The staff is very well trained and they are very helpful. We get a room in the Bruce category, very spacey, well maintained and cozy . Big balcony with a view over the pool and tea gardens. Breakfast and dinner are served a la carte with a very good quality. The farewell we got a pack of special teas and flowers sprinkled on the car. I definitely will come back.

Wow!! What an amazing hotel in such a beautiful location. From the moment we arrived we had such a warm welcome. Shiva made us feel right at home and was so polite and made us chuckle with his great sense of humour, he went above and beyond to make our two night stay feel special. The room was fantastic with an outstanding view of the rolling hills and you can see Adams Peak in the distance, such a beautiful sight to wake up to. All of the staff front of house, restaurant staff, bar staff and pool staff were amazing and so welcoming and always had the time to say hello. Everyone always went the extra mile to make us have a very pleasant stay. A special thank you also to Sithija in the bar for making us some lovely Mojitos, they were delicious. We were also able to borrow bicycles from the hotel to go for a ride around the tea plantations. This enabled us to get some stunning photo’s of the local area, a must if you do stay. One last thing, I’d like to thank all the staff for signing a birthday card for me and presenting the room nicely for me after dinner knowing it was my birthday the following day. It was a pleasure to meet you all.

We have been welcomed in such a warm way that we felt like home right away. We took part in a hotel tour where we were shown the spa facilities, gardens, staff rooms, etc. Thank you Vidugash, who went beyond and above himself to take care of our wellbeing. We also took part in the hotel's yoga class. This takes place in the morning on a viewing platform so you can enjoy the sunrise with breathtaking views. A. Sudharshan, thank you very much for this unique and great start to the day. After this class I felt so alive and full of energy. He responded very well to individual requests and explained all the steps wonderfully. We also took part in the hike through the tea plantations. You will receive directions from the hotel. I can only recommend this hike to everyone. The view is breathtaking and you meet so many nice people from the neighboring village. Our gratitude belongs to the whole Argyle-family - the bellman, the pool bar team, the restaurant team-. The food and the cocktails are delicous. The service is incorrigible. They all have been so attentive, seeing every little detail without having to ask for it. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

If you will travel to Srilanka do not forget to book a stay in "The Argyle" with its breathtaking view over the hills. A very friendly staff worked for our amenity with a perfect service. The room was comfortable and clean with a direct way to the nice pool for relaxing after our busy day. Beautiful. Thank you for the perfect stay.

We had a wonderful time in this place, the location is with fantastic view, and the landscaping is mind blowing, specially my kids enjoyed the warm water pool, and they had lots of space to run around, one of the mus try place in Sri Lanka if you are vising upcountry.

When arriving at the hotel we have been welcomed in such a warm and cheerful way that we felt like home right away. Shiva from reception checked us in and explained the hotel facilities in a very entertaining and fun way. He went beyond and above himself to take care of our wellbeing. Even when feeling a bit unwell due to the long travel he provided us with complimentary drinks to recover. Unfortunately we do not know the name of the whole team but our gratitude also belongs to the bellman, the pool bar team and the restaurant team. They have been so attentive, seeing every little detail without having to ask for it. Moreover food is delicious, the views are breathtaking and the hotel facilities are full five stars! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

My family and I just had the most amazing time at Hotel Argyle in Hatton, Sri Lanka! From the moment we walked in, the staff—Nathan, Vthu, Avishka, Suren, Chamod, Rushanthi, Siva, Dilan, Jana, and everyone else—made us feel super welcome and right at home. Our room was lovely—spacious, clean, and with the most stunning views of the mountains. The location was just perfect for exploring the nearby tea plantations and gorgeous waterfalls. Plus, the staff were more than happy to help us set up tours and transportation, which made everything so easy. A big hit for my son was the outdoor pool and the buffet—he had a blast! Speaking of food, the meals at the hotel’s restaurant were absolutely delicious. We really loved the variety of dishes available. We also noticed the little touches in the room amenities and how clean everything was, which truly added to our experience. All in all, our stay at Hotel Argyle was fantastic! We couldn’t recommend it more for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in the beautiful hill country of Sri Lanka! Thank you Argyle
