By far the best hotel we have stayed in, anywhere in the world. Facilities spot on and service 2nd to none. 100% recommend. Breakfast and evening meals great, something for everyone. Very clean and tidy. Staff will do anything for you. Spectacular views from room and pool area.

Unfortunately, we only stayed at The Argyle for 2 nights on our tour. Located in the middle of the rice fields with a circular hiking trail, it was the top resort on our Sri Lanka tour. As a big birthday surprise, we even got the resort's only suite, which is amazing. Very nice and attentive team, from the reception to the restaurant, the pool service, the gardeners... there are only nice and friendly people here who do everything to make their guests feel comfortable. And the High Tea in the afternoon of the 2nd day: soooo delicious. So The Argyle became a real highlight of our Sri Lanka trip in 2025. And if we come to Sri Lanka again, we will definitely stop there, just for a little longer. Many thanks to the whole The Argyle Staff - Istouti

Just lovely- couldn’t recommend highly enough.. If you’re staying in Sri Lanka book this hotel. Location, rooms, facilities, staff, food all get full marks. Well done to all the staff- perfect! Special mention to Vithu, for being such an attentive host.

This hotel is amazing the views are stunning. You can watch the sun set and rise. The pool area and pool are lovely nice to cool off. The whole grounds are spotlessly clean. You can walk around the tea plantation at your own pace would recommend. The food was lovely. Had a lovely massage. The staff were out standing so so friendly and interested in were you come from and finding out about your country.

A truly wonderful boutique hotel in the tea plantation. The rooms are amazing and so beautifully presented. Pool area lovely with views of the surrounding area. A La carte dinner on our second night was excellent as was breakfast next morning. Staff are excellent with Rushi and the bar staff in particular worth mention.

Ein tolles Hotel, in dem das Personal wie eine Familie zusammen arbeitet. Stets freundlich und aufmerksam wurden auch immer unsere Geburtstage zelebriert. Alles ist sehr sauber, es gibt Räder zum Ausleihen, wenngleich man durch die Teeplantagen eventuell lieber zu Fuß geht. Ein schöner Pool rundet das Ganze ab.

Der Service in diesem Hotel ist einfach hervorragend, so viel Freundlichkeit, wir waren begeistert. Besonders ist der Service im Restaurant durch Nayomi, Isuru, Thiyagu und Pasindu. Mir ging es leider vom Magen her nicht gut, es wurden mir alle Wünsche bezüglich des Essens erfüllt und man hat sich rührend um mich gekümmert! Wir können dieses Hotel wärmstens weiterempfehlen!!!

Great service at the Argyle, food was very fresh and staff super friendly. Special mention goes to Darshaa who served us high tea outside in pouring rain. Also Sri Kath who was super attentive in restaurant. Beautiful surroundings, a little piece of heaven. Tip: ask for balcony overlooking pool area, noise from generator in rooms overlooking carpark.
